Besides the many humans that call Valisthea home, this world in Final Fantasy 16 is where many other interesting creatures and plants have thrived. They are not all peace-loving, but it is just how the world works sometimes. What that means for Clive Rosfield is a journey full of peril no matter which corner of the continent he finds himself in, where combat is necessary just to survive.

And for players who just can't get enough of that fast and heavy action, the JRPG has much more to offer via the Notorious Marks bounty hunts. In exchange for useful rewards, Clive and his allies can bring down dangerous threats to Valisthea found in all sorts of places, and for those hoping to eliminate the foe known as Sekhret in Final Fantasy 16, this is the best place to begin.

Where To Find Sekhret In Final Fantasy 16

The Minotaur, known as Sekhret, can become a target once players are in the main quest, After The Storm. After picking up the mark, head over to Martha's Rest. From there, go north to the northwestern part of Greensheaves, and get ready to do battle.

How to Beat Sekhret in Final Fantasy 16

Much like many of the other hunts in Final Fantasy 16, the Sekhret fight will be a familiar yet more difficult one. This enemy uses many of the same moves as a normal Minotaur, but it does much more damage. Consider more caution when faced with this target:

  • With no elemental or ranged attacks at its disposal, Sekhret is predictably more threatening at close range. Watch out for its swinging combos, and always wait for the end before trying to attack.
  • When the enemy starts running, it is time to dodge or get out of the way of this damaging attack. Sekhret will dash two times, so don't get caught out by its second attempt to knock down Clive.

  • The enemy will also use special attacks like Big Swing and Raging Bull. The former sees a prolonged swing by Sekhret, so keep dodging backward to avoid damage. As for the latter, it will see the creature slam into the targeted area, so steer clear.

The easiest way to eliminate Sekhret is to use its aggressiveness against it. Each time it finishes an attack, it becomes open to attacks of all kinds for a good while. Unleash the most powerful Eikonic Abilities available, and this enemy should go down soon enough.

By completing the hunt and getting rid of Sekhret, players will obtain 800 XP, 60 Ability points, 8200 Gil, and 20 Renown. The Minotaur Mane harvested from the fight will also be useful at the Blacksmith.

Final Fantasy 16 is exclusively available for PlayStation 5.
