Weapons have always played an important role throughout the Final Fantasy franchise, with iconic blades like Ragnarok and Excalibur having appeared in numerous installments over the years. Final Fantasy 16 is pretty well-stocked in this department, with more than 20 different swords for players to craft and reinforce during their Valisthean adventures.

Final Fantasy 16: Every Crafting Material (& How to Get Them)

Some of the crafting materials in Final Fantasy 16 can be a little hard to come by, particularly those needed to forge the best late-game gear.

Those hoping to get their hands on all of Clive's weapons in Final Fantasy 16 are going to have their work cut out for them, as many can only be crafted once players have acquired the necessary components, some of which are tied to challenging mini-boss fights. Upgrading every weapon can be equally challenging, but the rewards for doing so arguably make it worth the player's while.

To craft Excalibur, players will need 300 Wyritte, one Scarletite, one Grimalkin Hide, and one Bomb Ember. Players will be able to get the latter by defeating Bomb King during the "Weird Science" side quest and can get their hands on a Grimalin Hide by completing the Grimalkin hunt. Scarletite can be obtained by defeating the Dozmare, Fastitocalon, Ten of Clubs, and Holy Trumpitour Notorious Marks or by completing the "Hot Water" side quest in the Dalimil Inn area.
