Final Fantasy 16 has plenty of curiosities, and they are scattered all over Valisthea. Some of them are obtained by playing the main story, but others require players to actively search their surroundings. Orchestrion Rolls are among the many curiosities that players can find in Final Fantasy 16.
Orchestrion Rolls are used to change the soundtracks in the game. Like most Final Fantasy games, the music in the most recent installment is absolutely stunning. In order to use these orchestrion rolls, players will have to approach the orchestrion machine in the Hideaway. It can be found right next to the bar. Upon interacting with the Orchestrion, a list will pop up, and it will have a few slots filled depending on how far the players have progressed in the main story.
Orchestrion rolls that are locked will have "???" written, and they will have a small note on how to obtain them. The information is obviously vague, so players can simply follow this guide to get their hands on every Orchestrion Roll in Final Fantasy 16.
Hide, Hideaway
The "Hide, Hideaway" Orchestrion roll is acquired when players access the Orchestrion for the very first time. It is one of the easier curiosities to obtain.
Where the Heart Is
"Where the Heart Is" does not have to be purchased or scoured. It is already available to play in the Orchestrion; all players need to do is open the device.
Our Terms
Players won't be able to obtain the "Our Terms" Orchestrion Roll until they move to the second hideout, which happens only after Hugo Kupka's attack.
Twilight
Players will get their hands on the "Twilight" Orchestrion Roll only after completing the Fire in the Sky main quest. Players will have to travel to the Crystalline Dominion, where Dion's Bahamut awaits them.
Sorrow’s Faded From
"Sorrow's Faded From" won't appear in the Orchestrion unless players have successfully completed Home Sweet Home. It is not difficult per se, but it will take some time before players reach this particular quest.
Good Bones
"Good Bones" is added to the Orchestrion upon the completion of the Like Father, Like Daughter main quest. It is a simple mission, and players won't have too much trouble completing it.
The Sound of Silence
"The Sound of Silence" is a fitting name for the Orchestrion Roll that is obtained after the Wages of Guilt main quest is completed. Players will want to play it upon completion of the main quest.
The Founder's Footsteps
This is one of the first Orchestrion Rolls that players will be able to purchase in the game. They can buy it directly from the merchant near Martha's Rest; it costs 20,000 Gil.
Idylls of The Empire
"Idylls of The Empire" is another purchasable Orchestrion Roll, and this particular one can be found in the Lostwing Hideaway. Players can buy it from the seller in the area for 40,000 Gil.
The Thousand Tables
"The Thousand Tables" Orchestrion Roll can be found in the inventory of the merchant near Dalimil Inn. Once again, it is rather expensive, as it costs 40,000 Gil.
The Lion and the Hare
"The Lion and the Hare" Orchestrion Roll can be purchased from the seller in Dravozd, the village of Blackthorne. Players will travel to the village during the Blacksmith Blues III side quest.
Lovely, Dark, and Deep
"Lovely, Dark, and Deep" Orchestrion Roll can be bought from two merchants: Charon's Toll in the Hideaway and the merchant in Eastpool. Both places sell it for 40,000 Gil.
Before the Storm
Before the Storm is available for purchase from the vendor in Northreach. It is the most expensive Orchestrion Roll, with a price of 50,000 Gil.
Into The Mire
Into The Mire is available at two merchants for a price of 40,000 Gil. Players can buy it either from the seller in Moore or from Charon in the Hideaway.
Betrayal
"Betrayal" can be bought for a sum of 20,000 Gil in Boklad from the merchant.
Night Terrors
The "Night Terrors" Orchestrion Roll is obtainable from the merchant in Amber for 20,000 Gil. In case players forget to buy it in Amber, they can find the same item in Charon's inventory.
On The Shoulder of Giants
On the Shoulder of Giants can be purchased from the seller in Tabor. It costs 20,000 Gil.
Forever More
Players will need to travel to Martha's Rest and head to the location in the picture above. They will come across a crate that contains the "Forever More" Orchestrion Roll.
Histoire
"Histoire" is found in a chest in Lostwing. After climbing a bunch of stairs near the shop, players will find the box, which should have the Orchestrion Roll.
Sand and Storm
"Sand and Storm" can be acquired without spending any Gil. Players need to travel to the Dhalmekian Republic and, from there, head to the location in the picture.
Indomitable
Indomitable is another Orchestrion Roll that can be found inside a chest. It is exactly at the point on the map pictured below:
A Rose Is a Rose
A Rose Is a Rose can only be obtained by increasing Clive's renown. Once Clive hits 135 renown, the item can be claimed from Patron's Whisper.
No Risk, No Reward
This particular Orchestrion Roll is also available at Patron's Whisper. To unlock it, players will have to make Clive reach a renown of 1120.
To Sail Forbidden Seas
To Sail Forbidden Seas is the last Orchestrion Roll that players can get from Patron's Whisper. They will have to reach a renown of 2850. Players need to clear plenty of side quests and story missions to reach this level of renown.
