Final Fantasy Mode is the most challenging difficulty in Final Fantasy 16. It is meant for people who want to enjoy fast-paced combat with added hardness. Players wanting to play Final Fantasy Mode will find the option to do so on the main menu of the game.
After starting the game in this particular mode, players will see an increase in the power of the enemies. Furthermore, the map will also see some enemies spawn at different places. The increase in the power level of the enemies will be a challenge to the skill of the players.
Once Final Fantasy Mode has been selected, players won't be able to change the difficulty mid-way. So, it is advised to only select the difficulty if they're fully confident.
After players beat the game on Final Fantasy Mode, they will earn the "Fantasy, Finally" trophy. It is a gold trophy, which means completists will have to play Final Fantasy Mode at all costs. The Fantasy, Finally trophy is hard to obtain, but it will indubitably look good in the players' collection.
How To Unlock It
Final Fantasy Mode cannot be accessed at the start of the game. It can only be selected once players have beaten the entire game. It is harder than what players will be accustomed to, but Square Enix has included various things that will make things easier for the players. While it is not necessary to play the game on this mode, it does provide an elated combat experience.
Final Fantasy 16 is exclusively available for PlayStation 5.
