For many of the Eikons in Final Fantasy 16, there's an easy choice as to which of their four Eikonic Abilities players should leave behind. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately), this isn't the case for the colossal Eikon known as Titan, as all four of its Eikonic Abilities are profoundly effective in combat. Players will need a thorough understanding of each one in order to decide which they'd like to use. It also comes down to personal preference, as although they are all good, some players may find themselves gravitating towards certain abilities over others.

In Final Fantasy 16, each Eikon that Clive attunes with gives him one Eikonic Feat and four Eikonic Abilities. The Eikonic Feat is always equipped whenever Clive is attuned to that Eikon, but two of the four Eikonic Abilities can be equipped and swapped out at any time. Picking the best Eikonic Abilities can sometimes be a challenge, so players are encouraged to experiment.

4 Raging Fists - Titan Eikonic Ability

Raging Fists can be used to block nearly any attack and then follow up with a brutal flurry of punches as a counterattack. Usually, Eikonic Abilities that act as counters are high up on the list, especially if players are experienced enough to get the most out of them, but Raging Fists ranks low on Titan's Eikonic Ability list for one important reason. Titan's Eikonic Feat, Titanic Block, already serves as an incredible defensive option and gives the ability to counterattack on a successfully timed block, making Raging Fists feel somewhat redundant.

3 Windup - Titan Eikonic Ability

Windup allows Clive to summon Titan's fist and charge up a powerful punch. The longer the player charges this attack, the more damage and knockback it will deal. If players release the attack while the marker is in the red zone, it will deal even more damage. This move deals incredible damage, rating at 4 stars for Attack Potency, and it isn't too hard to get the timing right for the Precision Windup either.

2 Upheaval - Titan Eikonic Ability

Upheaval is arguably the best of Titan's Eikonic Abilities because it is versatile but still very powerful. Using a similar charge-up mechanic as Windup, players are able to strike the ground with Titan's fist to create a shockwave that damages all nearby enemies. This attack does less damage than Windup but deals more Will damage and hits more targets. It can even be executed without charging up to knock over all nearby enemies very quickly.

1 Earthen Fury - Titan Eikonic Ability

Final Fantasy 16 Earthen Fury Titan Eikonic Ability

Earthen Fury is Titan's final Eikonic ability, and it is incredibly powerful. This move requires 1,895 AP to learn, meaning Final Fantasy 16 players may need to farm AP for a while, but the power is well worth the investment. Clive uses Titan's fists to slam into the ground, causing wave after wave of earthen pillars to sprout up from the ground in front of him in a conic shape and damage and knock back enemies. This does massive damage to all enemies in range, and it can be upgraded (for 2,525 AP) to extend the range and number of hits. Naturally, the cooldown on such a powerful move is quite long, clocking in at 135 seconds.

Final Fantasy 16 is available now on PS5.
