Eludium and Flawless Eludium are materials in Final Fantasy 16's The Rising Tide DLC that are used in the creation of several very powerful armor pieces. Players who are looking to get their hands on Eludium or Flawless Eludium must turn their attention to the Kairos Gate game mode. For the uninitiated, that mode becomes available upon beating Leviathan in Final Fantasy 16's The Rising Tide DLC, and it is accessed from the Arete Stone on the Hideaway's main deck.
Final Fantasy 16 - The Rising Tide: Where to Find Ageless Oilstone
Final Fantasy 16 players will need to find the Ageless Oilstone location in order to craft the Serpent's Watch (Abyssal Tear) Accessory.
Once players have gained access to Kairos Gate, they must focus on working through its Circles. Indeed, Eludium is awarded upon first completions of Circles 1, 6, 11, and 16 on Final Fantasy 16's Action Focused difficulty setting, while Flawless Eludium is awarded for first completions of those Circles on Final Fantasy Mode.
Eludium and Flawless Eludium are awarded regardless of the rank that a player achieves when completing the associated Circles. That said, there are some incentives for fans who are playing on Final Fantasy Mode to achieve S-Ranks on all the Circles in Final Fantasy 16 's Kairos Gate .
Final Fantasy 16: Eludium & Flawless Eludium Uses
As has already been indicated, Eludium and Flawless Eludium are used in the crafting of a variety of Eludium armor pieces. Here are details on those items, and each one requires two of its associated Eludium:
- Eludium Belt: 125 Defense, 70 HP
- Eludium Wristlets: 125 Defense, 70 HP
- Reinforced Eludium Belt: 225 Defense, 150 HP
- Reinforced Eludium Wristlets: 225 Defense, 150 HP
To note, players who hope to craft these items will need more than just the Eludium that is earned from clearing Circles in Kairos Gate. Indeed, fans will also need materials like Aqueous Membrane, Notched Tang, Timeless Gardbrace, Billous Scales, and Water Shards. Fortunately, players will earn most of those items simply by working through the main story in Final Fantasy 16's The Rising Tide, and they can get the rest of them by completing hunts that appear in Haven after taking down Leviathan.
