What are the Dawntrail Pre-order Bonuses?

Pre-ordering Dawntrail awards players with two in-game items: a minion and an accessory.

With Dawntrail previews hinting at a few nods to Final Fantasy 9, it's no surprise to see this familiar face waiting in our Moogle Mailboxes. Wind-Up Zidane is our old friend in miniature minion form. The minion's flavor text tells the legend of a band of thieves pretending to be a theater troupe, which set them on a path to kidnap a princess and save the world.

The pre-order bonus accessory is Azemya's earring. Not only is it a stylish piece of glamour, but it's also a vital part of any player's toolkit. When equipped, it gives characters a 30% boost to all experience earned under level 90. Unlike the Ala Mhigan earring awarded for pre-ordering Stormblood, Azemya's earring is limited to only Disciples of War and Magic. It would be far too powerful if it could be used in crafting or gathering classes.

How to Get FF14 Dawntrail Preorder Code

For those who pre-ordered the game on Xbox or Playstation, the pre-order bonuses are automatically applied to your linked Square Enix account.

Gamers who purchased the PC version directly from the Square Enix store can find the code in their email. The pre-order code is located in a separate email from the code to activate Dawntrail.

Steam users will find the code in their game library.

1. Navigate to your game library.
2. Right-click Final Fantasy XIV Online.
3. Select Manage CD keys.
4. Find the 20-digit Early Access Code, which will start with RF6A.

How to Redeem Preorder Codes

With the pre-order code handy, the next step is to enter it into Mogstation.

1. On any web browser, navigate to the Mogstation website.
2. Log in using your Square Enix username and password.
3. Under Registration Codes, select Enter Pre-order Bonus Code.
4. Enter the code provided in the email.
5. Select Next.
6. Wait for the items to be delivered via in-game mail.

If the Enter Pre-order Bonus Code option does not appear, it's already been registered to this account.
