Fate/Grand Order players are currently celebrating 12 million downloads after returning from Oniland recently. However, the winter holiday season is kicking off earlier this year with a revival of Christmas 2019. From November 12th to November 20th, players can earn rewards from the "Merry Christmas in the Underworld" rerun. Note that access to this event requires completing the 7th Singularity, Babylonia.
It's the day before Christmas but all Chaldea staff and most servants are suffering from "Sumerian Summer Fever." Tracing the cause back to Babylonia's Underworld, the protagonist learns that Ereshkigal is the reason behind this illness and is also in great danger. Now players must team up with the only servant unaffected, Attila the San(ta), to save both the legendary goddess and Christmas through a heartwarming storyline.
Attila the San(ta)
Attila the San(ta) will temporarily join the player's roster after completing Chapter 1 of the event and will become permanent upon obtaining the "War God Exchange Ticket" from the lottery. Attila is a 4-star Archer-class servant with an NP charge and NP/critical damage up skills she can use on party members or herself to boost her devastating single-target Quick NP.
As a welfare servant, Attila can be raised to Level 80 and NP5 by fully clearing the event. Note that her "Santa Mustache" ascension item comes from the lottery while additional NP copies are bought from the shop. Players who already NP5'd Attila from the original event will also get a Rare Prism for each additional copy they obtain this year.
Main Quest Progression
The Christmas 2019 rerun story cannot be completed right away and follows a similar timelock as previous events like Halloween 2019. Note that this means the best farming quests for event currency won't be available until later in the week.

Event Shop
Fate/Grand Order players will need to gather 3600 Snow Baby, 2600 Corpse Bell, and 2500 Hollow Candle drops from quests to fully clear the Christmas shop. However, they should first buy the 4 shop CEs.

As previously mentioned, Attila the San(ta)'s NP copies can be purchased using Crystal Wreath drops from the lottery.

Lottery
During all quests, Sand of the Underworld may also drop from enemies. This event currency can be used 2 or 20 at a time to roll for 1 or 10 random items from the Christmas lottery. While the item pool contains skill gems and several types of ascension materials, there is a single Grand Prize in each lineup that must be claimed before moving onto the next. Because this is a rerun, there are only 10 lineups total which requires 6000 Sand of the Underworld assuming no early resets.

Event Bonus Servants
Using servants related to Babylonia or appearing in the Christmas 2019 story will also give a bonus to one type of event currency.

Event Craft Essences
The Merry Sheep CE purchased from the shop and rarely found as a drop during free quests should be equipped on most of the party.

3 more CEs can also be summoned from Ereshkigal's gacha banner to boost the main event currency drops.

Best Places to Farm
While players should be using natural AP to clear the initial free quests, the later quests specialized in one event currency and specific ascension materials will start appearing after November 14th. Once all the free quests are unlocked, players will have 3 days left to farm for the shop and lottery.

Challenge Quest
Like last year, there's one more challenge for players who have defeated Solomon.
Altria Pendragon (Lancer) - 156,060 HP/195,065 HP/286,110 HP

Merlin will buff all enemies with a permanent critical chance up when the fight starts. It isn't recommended to kill Merlin first because breaking his first HP bar when Altria is still alive will give her a permanent HP up, increased critical damage, and buster card effectiveness buff. However, breaking Altria's first HP bar will cause her to gain 1 NP charge and debuff the party with increased poison damage while depleting her second HP bar will give her 2 NP charges and apply the same poison debuff again.
Players should bring a strong single-target Saber to defeat Altria as quickly as possible. Supports with evades or invulnerability are also recommended in case Altria lives long enough to use her AOE NP, but servants that can cleanse the poison DOT afterward are also good choices. Once Altria goes down, Merlin isn't that threatening and using a Rider-class servant will speed things up even more.
