However, players who want to dominate Farlight 84 can’t solely rely on their chosen hero and their abilities, especially when the game offers a unique weapon leveling mechanic that drastically changes the performance of their armaments.
Unlike other hero shooters with weapon choices, players can increase the performance of their favorite armaments the more they use it in combat. Through Weapon XP, players can get weapon upgrades for free the longer they use their weapons in firefights. Thankfully, players with itchy trigger fingers can level up their Farlight 84 weapons much faster through specific setups.

The vast wasteland setting of Farlight 84 makes for high-octane battle royale matches, especially since its locales offer different visuals for players. However, those who want to get Weapon XP much faster should consider dropping in a high-loot zone. That way, they can get weapons such as the Invader and M4 as soon as possible and start leveling them up. If they’re lucky, other enemies may even decide to drop in the area, giving players a headstart in Weapon XP if they manage to kill them.
The dense buildings of Feteville and the Factory make them decent landing spots, as their selection of mid-to-high-quality loot and access to cover make it great for careful plays. Gamers looking for more action should consider Launch Site in the middle of the map and Sanctuary Tower with its imposing structure, both of which attract players for high-quality loot and are therefore sites for lots of firefights.
Get Aggressive
Unlike other battle royales in the gaming market, Farlight 84 gameplay rewards player participation throughout in the match by locking Weapon Levels behind firefights. Unless players kill enemies or assist their teammates in fights, their favorite battle royale weapons will remain weaker than others.

Unlike fast and loose Attack Heroes, the tanky kits of Defense Heroes can help players be more confident in shooting at foes within the safety of energy barriers (Captain), a front-facing bunker (Watchman), a defense drone (Ducksyde), and even a dense fog (Ember).
Compared to more aggressive Attack Heroes, strategies that get more Weapon XP out of Defense Heroes involves a war of attrition. Players who use Defense Heroes in the thick of battle will be easier to access to enemies, but this also means a gamer with good aim knows exactly where enemies will be coming from and score easier kills.
Outplay Opponents With Scout Heroes
Players enjoying the jetpack-fueled gameplay of Farlight 84 can spice up their battle royale experience through Scout Heroes in order to get Weapon XP. Unlike Attack and Defense Heroes, these units outplay and surprise opponents in skirmishes to score quick kills. They can do this through springboards (Yong) that resemble Octane’s Jump Pads in Apex Legends, or invisibility (Phantom).
Among the Hero types, Scout Heroes have the biggest risk to use due to their preference for maneuverability. This is why other Heroes that rely on jetpack boosters (Maggie, Attack Hero) and other springboards (Sunil, Support Hero) also get associated with Scout Heroes due to the inherent dangers of hopping around the battlefield. However, at the hands of an expert, it’s precisely this maneuverability that can secure more Weapon XP through faster kills.
Wait It Out
One rather unorthodox method of gaining the edge in a battle royale such as Farlight 84 is to wait until the later stages of the match before zooming in for the kill. In particular, players may want to wait until two or more teams are heavy in a firefight before rushing in to steal kills as a third party.
While players may not be able to steal their enemy’s weapons in these chaotic situations, distracted opponents are easy pickings for players who know their aim, getting XP in droves. If they get to kill their enemies, they can even steal their higher-level weapons. This may not “level up” the player’s current weapon, but they did get a high-level armament in the process.
Pick Favorites
Similar to most battle royale games, Farlight 84 has players scour the map to open chests and gather weapons they plan on using in combat. Most of the time, players end up using the weapons they’ve first picked. However, players who want to level up weapons fast should probably be picky with their weapons of choice.
At its core, this mechanic involves players having a preset choice of their preferred two weapons and actively looking for them as soon as the session begins. However, this strategy stops as soon as players find the first of these armaments. That way, players have already leveled up their first choice should they eventually find their second weapon later in the game, giving players a strong-enough weapon to contend with foes even if their secondary is still at its base level.
Adjust With The First Pair
Players who want more fast-paced battle royale action in their Farlight 84 gameplay should consider settling for the first set of weapons they’ve acquired. While this doesn’t necessarily mean having a player’s preferred a pair of weapons in every match, this does give them the advantage of a heads-up.
Settling and adapting to the first weapons acquired in a match allows players to level them up much faster. While the likes of the Jupiter indeed outmatch most other weapons, armaments leveled up earlier could still be able to outshoot it given the right approach.

Being able to score Weapon XP via assists removes a lot of pressure from players to outperform entire squads. The relief of having backup in the form of teammatesmay motivate players to explore playstyles and get more creative in gameplay, improving their overall experience.
Do The Lone Wolf Approach
Similar to Apex Legends and other battle royales, Farlight 84 gives players the opportunity to solo queue and either get two more teammates or face the entire battlefield in a glorified deathmatch. Regardless of the approach, Weapon XP may be gained faster if players head straight into the action alone instead of waiting for teammates.
This solo-focused playstyle gives players more room to engage other enemies in firefights without worrying about the immediate safety of their teammates. Solo queuers in battle royales also do this to eliminate enemies quickly, leaving the rest of the team to either catch up or score their own kills by securing the rear.
