Ahead of the Fallout Prime Video series' April 2024 launch, Kilter Films has revealed several new images giving fans a look at the protagonist, Lucy; the Brotherhood of Steel, as well as the series' take on Power Armor; and new characters such as Maximus and The Ghoul. There's still quite a wait ahead of the Fallout series' release date, but as fans learn more and more, it just seems to get better and better.

Prime Video's synopsis of the story reads,"Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them." Indeed, just based on these stills, it seems Lucy leaves Fallout's Vault 33 perhaps after some ordeal with her father, the Vault's Overseer Hank.

Lucy (Ella Purnell) is described as an optimistic, peaceful, and idealistic Vault Dweller, one whose ideals are challenged in a violent world where people will do her loved ones harm. Maximus (Aaron Moten) is a young soldier hiding from a tragic past, though exactly what that is remains to be seen. He Brotherhood of Steel, seen standing beside a Power Suit below, and believes in its mission to bring law and order to the Wasteland. The Power Armor shown (above and below) are truly remarkable. Walton Goggins plays a Ghoul from the Fallout franchise, but instead of being named, it seems he just goes by The Ghoul. It's uncertain exactly how he ties in, but his appearance is everything one would expect of a Ghoul. He survives the Wasteland as a Bounty Hunter and is described as pragmatic, ruthless, and mysterious. Finally, Overseer Hank (Kyle MacLachlan) wants to change the world for the better.

Fallout

Fallout is a post-apocalyptic RPG franchise created by Interplay Entertainment and developed by Black Isle Studios, before Bethesda Softworks took over the IP in 2004. The series features a retrofuturistic style following a nuclear war that devastated the game's world. Players typically inhabit a Vault Dweller, someone who remained safe in an underground shelter, appearing in the post-apocalyptic world where a problem needs to be solved. While the older games were more tactical RPGs, Fallout 3 took the franchise into the first person shooter genre, while also retaining the RPG elements.
