Vance's 9mm Submachine Gun is a great weapon to use if you are investing in your Guns skill. 9mm is one of the most common and cheapest ammo types in the game. Visit the Vikki & Vance Casino
The Vikki & Vance Casino is located in the town of Primm. You will reach this town as part of the main story after leaving the tutorial town of Goodsprings. The display in the center of the casino is the death car of Vikki & Vance. This "infamous" crime duo is based on the real-life Bonnie & Clyde. Although Vikki & Vance never got up to any real notoriety if you read the display.
The front side of the display has a case that is supposed to contain Vance's 9mm Submachine gun. Inspect the damaged display case to take note of its disappearance.
Tell Primm Slim the Gun is Gone
Primm Slim is a Protectron that patrols the casino. He can also be made into the town's sheriff as part of the "My Kind of Town" quest. You can ask him about the story behind the casino and the duo's underwhelming "crime spree." You can mention the missing gun to him and he will respond strangely. Pass the 50 Science skill check to tell him that he has been hacked. You will receive a note that can be read in your Pip-Boy. It will mark Westside on your map and reveal how the submachine gun was stolen.
Wins Hideout Location
Westside is not exactly where you're headed. You need to find the Wins Hideout instead.
This unmarked shack is located to the north of New Vegas between Westside and H&H Tools.
Retrieve Vance's 9mm Submachine Gun
Enter the shack to find the Wins. This couple has stolen the clothing and gun from the casino. They are planning a crime spree of their own. Pass the 55 Speech skill check to dissuade them, and they will give you the gun. If you don't have high enough speech, the gun will be locked in a very hard locked safe in the hideout.
Vance's 9mm Submachine Gun has a drum magazine with a bigger capacity and is stronger than the standard model.
