A Fallout: New Vegas fan brought a figure of the iconic Yes Man character from the game to the Hoover Dam in order to blend the Fallout universe with real life, and the photo encapsulating the moment has gone viral. Fallout: New Vegas was released way back in 2010, but it maintains a dedicated following today because of the many factions, locations, and different features in the Obsidian Entertainment spin-off released between Fallout 3 and 4.

Expressing their passion for Fallout: New Vegas, Reddit user Tunnelsnakefool shared an image of their Yes Man figure standing on a ledge near the Hoover Dam, showing the important Fallout location from an optimal angle. The Yes Man is introduced early on in Fallout: New Vegas and it shares some similarities with other Securitrons but acts as Benny's AI servant, unlike the other bots. Given his pleasant face and usually happy demeanor, Fallout: New Vegas fans have gravitated toward the unique PDQ-88b compared to the other Securitron units, and Tunnelsnakefool is no different as they own a Yes Man figure that stands at just over a foot tall.

Tunnelsnakefool's Fallout: New Vegas-inspired photo shows the dry and rocky Nevadan landscape, the impressive Hoover Dam power plant and the Lake Mead reservoir looming in the background while the smiling Yes Man rests on a nearby ledge. The Fallout: New Vegas fan noted this viewpoint of the Hoover Dam as the optimal location for such an image because of how the angle highlights the monument, specifying that it's accessible from the side belonging to the Caesar's Legion faction in the game. According to Tunnelsnakefool, the Yes Man figure in the photo was made by a friend of theirs, and it uses magnets in the face so that the Fallout: New Vegas fan can replace the Yes Man display with other Securitrons like Muggy, Victor, or others.

The Yes Man is just one of several Fallout: New Vegas NPCs that would feel right at home near the Hoover Dam, with the Legion and NCR factions playing a pivotal role at the in-game location. Although the Hoover Dam in Fallout: New Vegas is called the Old World Wall, and it fittingly looks more damaged in-game, Tunnelsnakefool's photo is a glimpse at how Yes Man would look in a restored dam. Perhaps because some Fallout fans still praise New Vegas as the greatest title in the series, Obsidian founder Feargus Urquhart has teased working on another Fallout title since Xbox's acquisition of Bethesda's parent company ZeniMax Media.

Though many fans responding to Tunnelsnakefool's photo from the Hoover Dam have expressed enthusiasm for the creativity, one player stated that the scenery was so perfect that it looked like a screenshot from Fallout: New Vegas with mods activated. Another fan noted that the Fallout: New Vegas water levels in the same location are much higher than in real life due to an ongoing drought, while one pointed out that the reservoir is at least not irradiated.

Fallout: New Vegas is available now for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.
