  • The Red Rocket station is a recognizable icon from the Fallout universe, featured in multiple games and Amazon Prime series.
  • SurviveOrDie84 used instructions from Rebrickable to build their detailed LEGO creation, based on a design by Dream Build Bricks.

A fan of Fallout and LEGOs has put together a Red Rocket Gas Station in brick form. The Fallout build looks quite impressive and includes some custom touches that make it the fan's own.

While not as quite a stand-out as Fallout universe brand icons like Pip-Boy or Nuka-Cola, fans of the later games in the series will recognize this iconic shop. The Pre-War Red Rocket stations can be found throughout Fallout 3, 4, and multiplayer online game Fallout 76. The place is iconic enough that it was even featured briefly in Amazon Prime's recent Fallout TV series, introducing it to a whole new group of fans for the first time. It seems that fans enjoy this particular business landmark, and at least one fan has taken it upon themselves to build it from the brick up.

The Best Fallout Characters Who Were Born Before The Bombs Fell

A handful of characters have been around since before Fallout's Great War. Here are some of the best.

Fallout fan SurviveOrDie84 shared their creation with the series' subreddit, detailed in several photos. The Red Rocket gas station has been recreated in impressive detail, down to the tilted overhang and decaying store sign. While there are some stylistic changes, it looks like this was based upon the design of the Red Rocket gas station near Sanctuary Hills in Fallout 4, or the one that recently appeared in the Fallout TV series, which bore a strong resemblance to the in-game counterpart.

Finishing off the design is a pair of minifigs based on the Vault Dwellers, who look like they're about to have a bad time, based on their company. Two Power Armor-wearing minifigs are standing off to the left, while a Deathclaw is lurking off to the right. While the Vault Dwellers look to be well-equipped, dealing with either or all of these combatants would pose a challenge for many fans.

How Was the Fallout LEGO Build Created?

According to SurviveOrDie84, they got the instructions to make this particular build from Rebrickable, a resource for fans to share designs that can be made with leftover bricks or partial LEGO sets. While the player didn't specify, it looks like they based their build on Dream Build Bricks's design, which calls for nearly 2000 parts. This doesn't include some special touches that SurviveOrDie84 added to their own LEGO build. The LEGO build directions state that this is a fairly complex build to attempt, suggesting that only those with several years of experience attempt it.

For many fans, part of the charm of LEGO is that building just about anything becomes possible with the right pieces and ingenuity. However, many fans would likely enjoy seeing an official Fallout LEGO set become a reality. There's no telling if a partnership will ever arise between the two brands, but LEGO has partnered with many games, so it's not impossible.
