The Fallout show proved to be a big hit among fans and newcomers alike, and has led many established fans revisiting the games. Celebrating a dad's favorite video game series or their overall gaming hobby on Father's Day has become a popular theme in recent years as more people play video games. On that note, one player clearly has kids that support their fandom if their father's Day gifts are any indication.

A Fallout 4 player shares an incredible clip in which their Survival game is saved by a 'miracle' as their character seemingly rises from the dead.

Reddit user Independent-Room-793 shared a pair of images of their Father's Day gifts with fans of the Fallout series, saying that they simply had to share. The images reveal them holding a handful of Nuka Cola bottlecaps, a Nuka Cola, and most impressively, a Pip-Boy on their arm made out of cardboard. The Pip-Boy appears to be based on the Pip-Boy 3000 model from Fallout 3 or Fallout: New Vegas, with a custom gift message written beneath the model number.

The Pip-Boy actually fits on the Dad's arm, and appears to have been made to house his cell phone, which is running the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy app. It's not clear how the dad's kids set about making this particular present, but what is obvious is that a lot of care went into it.

Fallout 4 players have swarmed the comments of the post to share their thoughts on the gifts. Most fans seem to be extremely impressed by the skill and detail needed to create something like this out of cardboard. Plenty of players congratulated the Dad on having incredible kids. While this is far from the first time someone has made a replica Pip-Boy, the receiving something with this much attention and love put into it from one's own children is truly remarkable.

Many of the series' most recent releases are definitely tied up in family ties and relationships with a father. Fallout 3 and the new Amazon series both see the protagonist leave the Fallout vault in search of their dad, while Fallout 4 gives players the option of playing as a father in search of his kidnapped son. While the notion of celebrating a post-apocalyptic world alongside Father's Day might strike some as funny, it's clear it's made this particular dad happy.
