Fallout is one of the most popular post-apocalyptic games ever made, with the series becoming quite mainstream following Bethesda's acquisition of the IP. The idea of roaming around a wasteland ravaged by nuclear war and encountering a wealth of mutated beings makes for an enticing prospect as players explore these unique landscapes and uncover the wealth of content on offer here.

There are many mutated enemies that players encounter in the game world. Among them, Ghouls are both commonplace and horrific. These mindless beings fling themselves at the player with every given opportunity and attack in packs, making them tough to handle at times. Some ghouls are more special than others and end up making a mark in the player's mind long after they're done interacting with them in the Fallout series.
