Cranberries are a great food source to get in Fallout 76. This is because it can be eaten directly, or used in recipes such as cranberry relish, cranberry cobbler, granny's tea, and much more. Whenever you find a large patch of this fruit, it is always a good idea to grab as much as you can.

If you need cranberries but can't seem to find them anywhere, the following sections will show you some of the best and easiest locations to pick up the fruit in large quantities. Here are all the best spots in the game.

Where to Find Cranberries in Fallout 76

This section will highlight the best locations to find cranberries. These spots have the highest quantities, so you are picking up more than 20, rather than just a couple at a time. There will be other resources you can pick up around here as well, such as some ceramic, cloth, and more.

Mac's Farm & Creekside Sundew Grove

To get to Mac's Farm, start by making your way to the eastern side of the map. You'll find the farm north of Bootlegger's Shack and east of Kerwood Mine. On the farm, you'll notice a large, red field with water. Head into this area, and you should be able to find at least 14 cranberry plants. There will be a small, destroyed shed in the field as well that has a few cranberries inside.

You can find even more cranberries by heading southwest to Creekside Sundew Grove, shown in the third image above. It'll be an area with large, red trees. Head inside here, and you should be able to find 22 pieces of cranberries. Keep in mind that you will need to be prepared with a gas mask of some kind to protect you from lung disease.

Sunrise Field

Now, let's head to the southeastern section of the map to Sunrise Field. You can find it south of Watoga High School, and west of Forward Station Delta. When you arrive, head to the back of the houses, where you'll eventually come across another water-filled field with red plants. There will be at least 17 cranberries here that you can harvest. Make sure to watch out for Fallout 76's Mirelurks in the area as well.

Overgrown Sundew Grove

The last spot requires heading southeast from Sunrise Field to Overgrown Sundew Grove, as shown in the map image above. It'll be on the very bottom section of the map on the east side. In the area, you'll be able to find 4 plants inside the destroyed house, and then 11 more will be scattered around outside.

Cranberries can be used for a multitude of recipes, missions, and more. Here's what you can use the cranberries you picked up for:

  • Cranberry Cobbler
  • Cranberry Meatball Grinder
  • Cranberry Moonshine
  • Cranberry Relish
  • Disease Cure
  • Granny's Tea
  • Healing Salve
  • Used to complete 'Eat a Cobbler, Not a Pie' mission

Cooking the item at your CAMP and making it into something else, such as Cranberry Cobbler, will make it much more useful than if you eat it alone. This will usually enhance the positive effects, such as satiating your hunger more, restoring more health, increasing your XP, and more.
