Fallout 76's Wastelanders update is out now, bringing with it a plethora of new content such as NPCs and more quests to complete. Perhaps surprisingly, the update is so popular that it helped transition Fallout 76's Steam reviews to "mostly positive."

One such addition is the new settlement of Foundation. New NPCs live here are a determined to make it their permanent home, potentially put them in conflict with the Fallout 76 PC. If that's the case or players just want to, Foundation can be nuked.

As demonstrated in the below video from YouTuber Rattler, players are able to actually nuke this new Fallout 76 settlement, something that's actually surprising given the shared world nature of the game. However, it doesn't kill the NPCs. The radiation envelops the area and they'll put on their hazmat suits, but these new characters are clearly here to stay.

While not as dramatic as the nuking of Megaton, it's still a cute quirk about the latest update. There's a good chance some may still not be happy with Fallout 76, as its core experiences remains unchanged, but it is a step in the right direction. Players are more likely to enjoy the new content once they are level 20 in Fallout 76, as a note for those interested in checking it out now.

Fallout 76 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
