The Pitt update in 2022 added a new currency to Fallout 76: The Stamp. It’s a collectible print that players can exchange for rare plans at a specific vendor. But the problem with this new currency is that it’s quite rare. There are only two ways to obtain it, and none are easy. Not to worry, though. This handy guide explains how to get more Stamps in Fallout 76 with simple techniques.
How to Get Stamps in Fallout 76
There are two ways to get Stamps. Players should either participate in Expeditions or collect them from the Scoreboard. Currently, these are the only Stamp farming methods that work because the item is non-tradable and doesn’t show up in enemy drops.
How to Get Stamps Through Expeditions
Higher-level players have the option to start an Expedition mission or participate in someone else’s. For that, travel to Whitespring resort, complete Refuge Daily Quests, and click “Start Expedition” on the map when the Vertibird battery is charged. Or simply click Public Teams and join another player’s Expedition.
Completing an Expedition challenge at the Pitt rewards players with 1 to 10 Stamps. But the prize depends on their performance. Basically, the more side quests they get done, the more Stamps they earn.
Each player can start only one Expedition per day. But there is no cap on how many times they can join other’s Expeditions.
How to Get Stamps with the Scoreboard
Fallout 76’s battle pass (Season or Scoreboard) rewards players with a few Stamps occasionally. Of course, Fallout 1st members are likelier to receive this precious item, but regular players may also be favored. The only catch is that Scoreboard rewards are not manually claimed. Players should regularly check the board, and claim earned Stamps.
How to Use Stamps
At the Whitespring resort, take the first door on the right and continue along the highway. Next to the Nuka Cola vendor, there’s a new merchant, Giuseppe, who sells Pitt plans in exchange for Stamp. Talk to him and purchase his Notes to learn new crafting blueprints.
Tips for Earning More Stamps Faster
Like farming Gold Bullion and Treasury Notes, getting more Stamps is a grind. But it’s not impossible. Have the following tips in mind to earn more Fallout 76 Stamps in a short time:
- Become an Expedition Leader. Starting a Pitt challenge guarantees earning more Stamps because Leaders have a greater hunt share.
- Complete the side quests of Expeditions. Each challenge in the Pitt—whether Union Dues or Ashes to Fire—has three extra missions. Getting these secondary tasks done increases the earned Stamps.
- Join more Expeditions. There is no limit on how many times a player can do Expeditions. So, join as many as possible to farm Stamps faster.
