Holy Fire is a heavy weapon in Fallout 76 that's great for full-health builds by default. Apart from coming with the Vampire, Rapid, and Durability legendary modifiers, it is also a "cursed" weapon, meaning that it deals more damage than the average Flamer at the expense of breaking slightly faster than normal.

Luckily for fans of heavy gun builds, Holy Fire's pros far outweigh its cons. However, this weapon is somewhat rare, and getting it will take a whole lot of luck with Fallout 76's public events. Here's where you can get this awesome Flamer for free.

Where To Get Holy Fire in Fallout 76

Holy Fire's base stats in Fallout 76

Holy Fire is one of the best Fallout 76 weapons, and it comes from Beasts of Burden event, which occasionally takes place in the Sacramental Glade in the Cranberry Bog region. Like other event-drop weapons, this one has a small chance of being rewarded to players once the final objective is finished. The Beasts of Burden event also has a chance to drop the Kabloom pump action shotgun and the Elder's mark submachine gun.

The event is fairly straightforward: retrieve explosives, blow open the Mothman cultist storage houses, and retrieve the stolen cargo. Once all the supplies have been loaded up, a legendary Ogua will show up. Beating it will end the event, and you may or may not get the Holy Fire once the rewards start getting handed out. A Public Event will start somewhere in the Appalachian wasteland once every 20 minutes, though the same event will not occur twice in a row.

Holy Fire is similar to Fallout 76's unique Fixer combat rifle in the sense that you can replace its default legendary modifiers without losing its unique stats. Regardless of what modifiers you get after rolling the weapon, it will always have a higher base damage and a faster durability decay rate compared to regular Flamers. The weapon can still be modded, and it will take normal Flamer parts.

Even without any modifications, Holy Fire is capable of melting anything in its way as long as players are using the right SPECIAL and perks setup. It is noticeably more ammo hungry than a normal Flamer but ammunition becomes a non-issue once players bring this weapon to a target-rich Expedition or Daily Ops mission. Still, sticking a better barrel or a bigger fuel tank on the Holy Fire will greatly increase the weapon's effectiveness in the long run.
