Deathclaws are perhaps the most terrifying enemy in all of Fallout 76. While some may fear the unique creatures that can be found throughout the various regions of Appalachia, for many Fallout fans, Deathclaws were haunting their dreams long before Vault 76 was ever imagined. So, when players are tasked with finding Deathclaw Eggs, it can be a dubious proposition at best.

Deathclaw Eggs, unsurprisingly, are found near Deathclaws. These ferocious beasts are located in several areas around Appalachia, and always offer a challenge. This guide will show players where they can find Deathclaw nests, which is pretty much the only place the eggs can be found.

Where to Find Deathclaw Eggs in Fallout 76

FO76-Deathclaw-Eggs-1

Deathclaw Eggs are a rare food item in Fallout 76, and are found exclusively in Deathclaw nests. It is important to remember that not every Deathclaw nest will have eggs, as they will only have about a slim chance of spawning in any given encounter. Whatever you may need them for, the best way to find Deathclaw Eggs is to find as many Deathclaw nests as possible, and visit them all until you have what you need.

Deathclaw Nests in Fallout 76

FO76-Deathclaw-Nests

The following locations are where Deathclaw Nests are known to be located:

Deathclaw Island:'

FO76-Deathclaw-Island

Deathclaw Island is located in the river that borders Fallout 76's western edge. Found northwest of Vault 76, there is a single large nest that will often have eggs. This nest is slightly different from the rest, as it is not marked as a typical 'Deathclaw Nest.' However, two eggs can still be found sitting freely on the ground.

Hopewell Cave:

FO76-Hopewell-Cave

Hopewell Cave is located in the northeast section of the Savage Divide, just south of the Pumpkin House. There is a nest inside the cave that will sometimes have eggs sitting on the ground near it.

Abandoned Waste Dump:

FO76-Abandoned-Waste-Dump

The Abandoned Waste Dump is a secret cave in the Mire. It leads to an extremely important story location, though it is possible to enter and exit without triggering any type of mission. There are three Deathclaw nests in the cave, and one outside the cave, to the left of the entrance. It is possible for all the nests to contain eggs, while two inside and the one outside often have eggs sitting freely.

FO76-AWD-Enter

Aside from these three locations, players can find several eggs during the Tunnel of Love event. This event features a Legendary Deathclaw, and multiple nests that can contain eggs. Keep watch on the World Activity tab on the map page to see when Tunnel of Love is taking place next.
