Come Across More Public Events

Fallout 76 Main Menu

Public events are a great way to earn Treasury Notes. They happen every 20 minutes. However, there are some events that you'll want to avoid, the main one being Distinguished Guests, as it's time-consuming and the rewards aren't that good. Should a public event pop up that you don't like, simply hop to another server to find a different event.

Some servers seem to be more active than others. So, if there doesn't seem to be much happening on the server you are on, hop to a new one to find a great public event.

Look For Events That Offer Lots Of Treasury Notes

Some Events Pay More Than Others

Scorched Earth Event in Fallout 76

There are certain events that players should keep an eye out for when it comes to Treasury Notes. Currently, the highest amount of Treasury Notes that players can earn for an event is 8. The event that pays this much is called A Colossal Problem. Other well-paying events include:

  • Encrypted: 4 Treasury Notes
  • Scorched Earth: 4 Treasury Notes
  • Radiation Rumble 4 Treasury Notes
  • Test Your Metal: 4 Treasury Notes
  • Eviction Notice: 4-6 Treasury Notes
  • Moonshine Jamboree: 4-6 Treasury Notes
  • Heart of The Swamp: 3 Treasury Notes

There's also a non-public event that offers Treasury Notes as a reward. Riding Shotgun is a fairly straightforward event that can be activated by talking to Vinny Costa over at Big Bend Tunnel East. This event can be completed once an hour on any given server.

If you switch servers each time you do the Riding Shotgun event, then you can grind it indefinitely.

Complete Daily Quests In F76

Certain Daily Quests Reward Players With Treasury Notes

Davenport in Fallout 76

There are 4 daily quests that pay Treasury Notes in Fallout 76. These are worth doing, especially during Gold Rush Weekends. The best daily quests that pay Treasury Notes can be seen below:

  • Photo Opportunity: Activated By Speaking To Davenport At The Overseer's House in Sutton
  • Retirement Plan: Activated By Speaking To Rocksy At The Crater
  • The Importance of Communication: Activated By Speaking To Wren At The Crater
  • Vital Equipment: Activated By Speaking To Ward At Foundation

To make things more efficient, start Photo Opportunity first. This quest requires you to take photos of either The Crater or the Foundation. Since you'll be heading to those locations for the other daily quests, it just speeds things up.

Also, while doing Vital Equipment, if the thief is still alive and not hostile, then you can select an option that will allow the thief to keep the stolen item. While you won't get the random array of rewards, you will still receive Treasury Notes for completing it. This saves you from having to report back to Ward to finish the quest.
