Some Fallout 76 players aren't happy with the Everything Pink Bundle, having recently started taking to social media to label it as everything from confusing to misleading. The ongoing barrage of criticism also underlines some wider concerns about the Fallout 76 item store.

The Fallout 76 Atomic Shop switches up its offerings on a weekly basis. Its previous catalog rotation occurred on May 9, when the Everything Pink Bundle was introduced. Fallout 76 Players Feel Misled With Everything Pink Bundle

Within days of the bundle going live, numerous fans have taken to social media to bemoan the way it is presented in the Atomic Shop. The bulk of the criticism is aimed at the fact that the collection's content gallery contains several pink items that are not actually part of the package. Some players have consequently claimed that they have bought the bundle with the sole intention of obtaining the Princess Castle Bed or Pink Pantsuit, both of which are prominently featured in the images advertising completely different items while not actually being sold themselves. "I already owned most of the stuff in the bundle, so the thing I wanted the most was the princess bed," wrote Reddit user Julie3151991 while explaining how she was misled into buying the $15 cosmetics pack.

This issue didn't start with the pink-themed collection, with many veteran players now chiming in on the situation to highlight that Bethesda has long been featuring such misleadingly inclusive Atomic Shop product images. Carefully reading through any given bundle's description is hence a requirement for making an informed purchase decision. But that is easier said than done, as bundle contents are rarely listed in order of store gallery appearance. Many fans hence feel that figuring out which Fallout 76 items and cosmetics are actually on offer in any given collection is a needlessly arduous task that often requires an internet search engine.

Fallout 76 Everything Pink Bundle Contents in Actual Order of Atomic Shop Appearance

  1. Heartbreaker Power Armor
  2. Pink Metal Armor Paint
  3. Pink Corvega Pip-Boy Paint
  4. Tickled Pink Gauss Minigun Paint (the Pink Pantsuit is not included)
  5. Laundered Pink Dress
  6. Valentine's Hardcase Backpack
  7. Pink Neon Heart Sign (the Valentine's Day Wallpaper is not included)
  8. Pink Floater Mobile
  9. Pink Wallpaper (the Princess Castle Bed is not included)

And while experienced players know that carefully reading bundle descriptions is a must, this newly highlighted issue is exacerbated by the fact that Fallout 76 has been blowing up since April 2024, largely fueled by the immense success of Amazon's television series based on the iconic franchise. According to data scraped by SteamDB, the game is still peaking at nearly 45,000 concurrent daily players on Steam alone. With so many newcomers currently flocking to Appalachia, the chances of players mistakenly making purchases they didn't want because they're not used to the less-than-straightforward Atomic Shop presentation appear to be at an all-time high.

Bethesda's microtransaction advertising practices are not the only thing that has recently faced scrutiny from the game's growing fandom; the battle pass-like Scoreboard has also been heavily criticized by Fallout 76 players for a variety of reasons ever since debuting with Season 16 in late March 2024.
