The Brotherhood of Steel is one of the Fallout franchise's most iconic factions, much like the Thieve's Guild in The Elder Scrolls. And soon, Fallout 76 players will be able to partake in a new Brotherhood of Steel storyline made just for the online multiplayer game. Bethesda is currently getting ready to release Steel Dawn, a new Fallout 76 update. Steel Dawn will be the first chapter in a bigger Brotherhood of Steel questline, free for all Fallout 76 players.

To help build up excitement for the upcoming Steel Dawn DLC, Bethesda's released a new trailer showcasing some of the first gameplay from Steel of Dawn, structured like a propaganda video for the Brotherhood of Steel. The player is shown being saved by some members of the faction, then joining their ranks to take on grave threats in the wasteland. Messages including "Discover the Power of Brotherhood" and "Together We Will Reclaim the Wasteland" are shown on bright golden banners.

The trailer depicts just one possible future with the Brotherhood of Steel, of course. As fans of the Fallout franchise know, a choice between joining the faction or standing against them has always been available. The trailer shows one future if the player gets recruited. Standing against the authoritarian Brotherhood of Steel likely goes much differently.

While Bethesda is already teasing the upcoming Steel Dawn DLC for Fallout 76, players still have some waiting to do. The DLC is currently scheduled to release in December later this year. Players will have to do with the Hunt for the Treasure Hunter event in the meantime.

Fallout 76 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
