While the Scoreboard was recently changed to Seasons in Fallout 76, they still share one thing in common: they require players to accumulate S.C.O.R.E. to progress through the ranks. While completing daily and weekly challenges as they pop up will eventually get you through the Season, there are a few things that players can do to drastically speed up the process.

Your first significant choice in Fallout 76 is picking between the Battle Ready or Fresh Dweller SPECIAL Loadout. Here's what you need to know!

Because of the way that Seasons work, should the player reach rank 150, then they will be able to purchase unlimited amounts of rewards, such as Legendary Modules and Legendary Cores. So, getting to level 150 as fast as possible is almost a must for dedicated Fallout 76 players.

7 S.C.O.R.E. Boosters

Rank Up A Little Bit Faster

SCORE Booster Image in Fallout 76

S.C.O.R.E Boosters are controversial in Fallout 76. This is because players can purchase them, and this makes them "pay to progress" items. However, players will receive some S.C.O.R.E. Boosters for free upon ranking up through the Season. These boost the amount of S.C.O.R.E. that the player earns by 25% for 24 hours.

These boosters can be a great way to progress through the Season faster if used correctly. The daily reset time for challenges is 12 pm EST (5 pm GMT). So, if a player activates one of their S.C.O.R.E. Boosters at 2 pm EST, then they will be able to complete two lots of daily challenges with one booster.

6 Don't Complete Weekly Challenges Too Soon

Completing Weekly Challenges Too Soon Can Lose A Player S.C.O.R.E. Points

Weekly Challenges in Fallout 76

While it may seem counter-intuitive, players should do their best to avoid completing any weekly challenges when they come out. Weekly challenges come out at 12 pm EST every Tuesday. The highest value weekly challenge is the 'Complete A Gold Star Daily Challenge 3 Times.' This challenge requires the player to complete all the daily challenges for three days (unless the player is a Fallout 1st member).

If a player waits to complete the weekly challenges but completes all of the daily challenges on Tuesday and Wednesday, then on Thursday, they can activate one of the S.C.O.R.E. Boosters mentioned above and complete all the weekly challenges in one go for 25% more points.

5 Look For Double S.C.O.R.E. Weekends

Progress Twice As Fast

Season Board View in Fallout 76

Usually, Bethesda throws in at least one Double S.C.O.R.E. weekend each Season. This allows players to rank up twice as fast. When there is a Double S.C.O.R.E. weekend, it will run from Thursday to Monday, so players should make the most of it.

S.C.O.R.E. Boosters stack with a Double S.C.O.R.E. weekend, making it a great time to use them should the player have any. It's important to note that the event doesn't affect weekly challenges. Weekly challenges will not offer double the S.C.O.R.E. that they usually do.

4 Complete All Challenges

Obvious But Important

Daily Challenges in Fallout 76

Some challenges can be a bit of a grind. Nevertheless, players should do their best to complete all available challenges before they reset. This is especially true if the player has passed rank 100. After rank 100, players will no longer be able to do the repeatable challenge: 100 S.C.O.R.E. for gaining 10,000 XP.

Sometimes, multiple challenges can be completed simultaneously, which makes the process much quicker and easier. Something else players can do to complete all the challenges is to tag them. It's possible to add them to the player's in-game view. This helps to reduce the chance of a player forgetting a challenge and missing out on S.C.O.R.E. Points.

3 Only Re-Roll Weekly Challenges

Free Re-Rolls Can Be Very Handy

Similar to S.C.O.R.E. Boosters, Re-Rollers can be purchased from the Atomic Shop. However, players can also earn them. They can earn them through the Season menu. Players also get one free Re-Roll every day (Fallout 1st members get more).

Re-rollers do exactly as one would expect; they re-roll a selected challenge. This is good for getting rid of any tricky or time-consuming challenges. Upon using a Re-Roller, there's a small chance for the player to receive an Epic Challenge. Epic Challenges offer more points.

It's important to note that players should try to avoid using their Re-Rollers on daily challenges, as an Epic weekly challenge offers a lot more S.C.O.R.E. Points than an Epic daily challenge.

2 Fallout 1st Or Season Pass

Progress Through The Season Faster

Most games these days have some sort of pay-to-progress or win mechanic. As mentioned in previous entries, Fallout 76 has a couple of these mechanics. When it comes to completing the Season, both Fallout 1st and the Season Pass do the same thing. They give the player access to special rewards that aren't available to regular players.

Although it’s not required to play, players should consider how a subscription to Fallout 1st can affect their experience with Fallout 76.

Fallout 1st costs $11.99 per month, and the Season Pass costs 1500 Atoms (around $15.00 depending on the package purchased). In the special rewards, there are permanent S.C.O.R.E boosts. Once they have all been unlocked, the player will earn 25% more points until the Season ends.

1 Use XP Boosters To Maximize S.C.O.R.E. Points

Grind The Repeatable Challenge

Lunchbox in Fallout 76

There's one challenge that is repeatable, and it was mentioned in a previous entry. The challenge gives players 100 S.C.O.R.E. Points for every 10,000 XP they gain. This is the most beneficial challenge that players can do. While players will naturally complete this challenge through normal gameplay, there are things that players can do to speed things up.
