Fallout 76: How To Unlock Expeditions

Expeditions in Fallout 76 allow players to head to The Pitt (Pittsburg) and Atlantic City (New Jersey); here's how to unlock them.

Over the past few updates, the amount of plans the players can get from Giuseppe has grown. From CAMP items and clothing to weapons and armor sets, there are lots of things that players can grind for in Fallout 76.

While Giuseppe has lots of plans, not all of them are worth the investment. However, there are some that are definitely worth picking up as soon as possible.

8 World's Biggest Slot Machine

A Fun Item To Own

World's Biggest Slot Machine in Fallout 76
  • Plan Cost: 90 Stamps

This is exactly what it sounds like. It is an enormous slot machine that players can build at their CAMPS. This slot machine can be found in the casino during the expedition Tax Evasion. The area can also be visited outside of expeditions for those wanting to go and take a look.

From The Human Condition to Union Dues, here's a ranking of all five Expeditions in Fallout 76.

While it can be played, it isn't really a slot machine in the conventional sense. It won't make players rich or poor; it's just a fun thing to own. It is a particularly good item for players who are interested in making a casino-style CAMP.

7 Quentino's Sign

Players Love Neon Signs

Neon Sign in Fallout 76
  • Plan Cost: 70 Stamps

Neon signs are very popular among players in Fallout 76. They help to label entrances, exits, and player vendors. The Quentino's Sign is a popular one as it encourages players to build dive bar-style bases.

Just like in real life, neon sights are very bright and can be seen clearly from a distance. Neon lights also have a tendency to load in first. So, if a player has a slow internet connection, they will be able to see the neon lights before everything else loads in.

As mentioned, players use neon signs to highlight entrances, exits, and player vendors. This makes it easier for those with a slow internet connection to make their way to the base's entrance.

6 Atlantic City Sign

Big, Bold, And Bright

  • Plan Cost: 80 Stamps

The Atlantic City Sign is an enormous sign that can be seen from very far away. While it doesn't light up, like the previous entry, the sheer size of this CAMP item makes it impossible for players to miss.

It's a fun piece for players who want to make their own Atlantic City-themed nightclub. It's also good for attracting the attention of nearby players. While it's not the most useful plan that Giuseppe has to offer, it is a fun one for those keen builders out there.

5 Pittsburgh Industrial Floodlight Kit

A Practical And Immersive Set

Wall Lights in Fallout 76
  • Plan Cost: 80 Stamps

This plan was introduced before all the others on this list. It was brought in when the Pitt Update was released. These floodlights look less like floodlights and more like something people would see in a nightclub. They are fun, colorful lights that can be put up around player CAMPS.

Here's what the best spots for a camp are in the post-apocalyptic wasteland of Fallout 76, and what their pros and cons are.

There is one downside to these lights: they are rather small. That said, they come in two color options, red and white, and they are great for building CAMPS that feel warm and welcoming.

4 Civil Engineer Underarmor Plans

The Newest Line Of Underarmor in Fallout 76

  • Plan Cost: 50 Stamps (Mods 40 Stamps Each)

There are lots of underarmor sets that players can craft in Fallout 76. Some offer boosts to various SPECIALS stats, while others increase the player's damage resistance. There's a type of underarmor to suit all players.

During the second Atlantic City update, Civil Engineer Underarmor Plans were introduced to the game. There are a few different mods that players can buy once they have purchased the base underarmor plan. They are a welcome addition to the game, as players are always looking for new and interesting effects on underarmor. The effects of each one can be seen below:

3 Civil Engineer Armor Mods

A Great Armor Set To Invest In

Civil Engineer Armor in Fallout 76
  • Plan Cost: 20 - 300 Stamps (Mods Vary In Price)

The Civil Engineer Armor set is the newest armor set to be added to Fallout 76. The set has great stats. It also has a special effect when a player is wearing all the pieces of the set. If all pieces of the armor are equipped, then the player will receive the following boosts:

  • 10% Chance To Deal 150 Fire Damage Overtime To Melee Attackers
  • All Weapons Break 35% Slower Than Normal

What makes this armor so special is that it is a high-tier armor set that can be traded. Most high-tier armor sets, like the Secret Service set and Brotherhood Recon Armor, are untradable.

As for the mods, there are lots of mods for this armor set. From ones that increase the player's AP to ones that increase their damage resistance. They are all worth purchasing, as players may want to test out different mod combinations on different armor pieces.

2 Honorable Mention

Union Power Armor

Union Power Armor in Fallout 76

Union Power Armor was a reward for finishing season 10. After season 10 had finished, the set became available for purchase from Giuseppe with Stamps.

While this is one of the best Power Armor sets in the game, it gets an honorable mention due to some bugs surrounding it. At the moment, players can't actually craft certain parts of Union Power armor. While the plans for the mods and pieces can still be purchased, some of the crafting has temporarily been disabled while Bethesda solves the problem.

1 The Auto Axe

An Unstoppable Melee Weapon

Auto Axe in Fallout 76
  • Plan Cost: 500 Stamps

This is the single most expensive plan that players can buy with Stamps. It costs a whopping 500 Stamps. It used to cost 1000 Stamps, but its price was reduced in a recent update. It's also worth mentioning that players can buy the plan for this weapon in the Atomic Shop. But that can cost real-world money. Also, while the plan for the Auto Axe can be purchased in the Atomic Shop, the mods can only be brought using Stamps.

The Auto Axe is one of the best melee weapons in all of Fallout 76. It's fast, does lots of damage, and it can be rolled to have legendary effects. As mentioned above, there are mods that can be purchased from Giuseppe to give this weapon more "oomph."

This is a must-have plan for all players. Even if the player isn't a fan of melee weapons, having an Auto Axe on hand can help in certain boss fights.
