The best way to get renewable water at one's workshop or in a camp is to build one of the three Water Purifiers in the game; a Water Purifier - Small, a Water Purifier, or a Water Purifier - Industrial. That is if the player has the required Plan to build them.

The material and energy cost is higher than the regular Water Purifier, and it has lower Purified Water output as well, though players can use the Water Purifier - Small to create 12 Purified Water per hour at the cost of 8 power and it has a maximum storage of 2.

This is twice the output of Purified Water as the smaller alternative, and at half the cost; a much more efficient means to get drinkable fluids if one can make use of the terrain.

The heftiest out of all the purifiers, the Water Purifier - Industrial is the ideal solution for one's long-term Purified Water needs. They need to be placed in a body of water, just like the regular variant, though are well worth the terrain criteria and building cost.

Generously, the Water Purifier - Industrial grants players the ability to produce 60 Purified Water per hour at the cost of 10 power and it has a maximum storage of 5. Due to the high output of fresh canned water, these big fellows are also the best choice for setting up a Purified Water farm.
