Once unlocked, players can use the Settlement building tool to customize each location to their liking. These Settlements may be periodically invaded by Raiders, Super Mutants, Ghouls, and more. Fallout 4 Diamond City Invaded by Super Mutants

Fallout 4's Diamond City faces an unexpected Super Mutant raid, leaving players surprised and intrigued about the game's dynamic events and design.

Reddit user E4MafiaLife recently shared a Fallout 4 clip highlighting the power of their Minigun-wielding Settlers. The clip begins with the player looking for the enemy threat in the Settlement that's being attacked. Ten Settlers equipped with Combat Armor and Miniguns can be seen focusing their gunfire on a small building as the gamer approaches. One of the Fallout 4 NPCs taunts the invaders by saying, "don't think I won't hurt you!" while the group unloads seemingly hundreds of rounds on the structure with the player simply witnessing the battle. This attempted invasion of enemies occurred at the Spectacle Island Settlement which is located in the southeast part of the map near Warwick Homestead.

How Did These Fallout 4 Settlers Get Such Good Gear?

For players to equip high-powered weapons and armor to their Settlers, they must first loot them in Fallout 4's open world. Once gamers have located gear they'd like their Settlers to use, Settlers can be equipped by trading the items with them. Weapons, armor, clothing, and more can be given to Settlers to improve their chances of defending Settlements when the player is out completing other tasks. These items must then be equipped by pressing the T key on PC, X on PS4, and A on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. If a Settler is given a gun, they require at least one piece of appropriate ammunition to use it. Despite only having one bullet, Settlers will gain access to an infinite supply of ammo.

While seven types of Turrets can be built in Settlements, E4MafiaLife's clip shows that players can get creative with how they protect these locations. Because Combat Armor and Miniguns aren't common, some players may use mods to equip their Settlers. As Bethesda continues to update Fallout 4, even more weapons or armor could be added to make Settlers even more ready to be raided.
