Bethesda lists Fallout 4's final expansion, Nuka World, for pre-order on Steam and reveals a bit more about what the expansion holds for the Sole Survivor.

Raiders are one of the most iconic human enemies from the Fallout universe, appearing in all of the games and posing a threat to the player. While gamers have always had to fight off raiders, Bethesda will soon be giving the player a chance to become one in Fallout 4.

Bethesda is now allowing gamers to pre-order Fallout 4's upcoming expansion Nuka World on Steam for $19.99, and the store listing offers a short description of what players can expect. In addition to noting that the expansion will take place in a Nuka World theme park, as was detailed during Bethesda's E3 presentation, the description also reveals that the Sole Survivor will be able to lead the Raiders that have taken over the park. While the expansion's description doesn't go into any detail as to how players will accomplish this, it does state that the Sole Survivor will be able to use their conquered Raider army to take over settlements and "bend the Commonwealth to your will."

A large part of the base Fallout 4 game has revolved around establishing and protecting settlements in the Boston Commonwealth - so much so that the constant protection detail requests from Preston Garvey have become a big joke among players. Nuka World should provide a refreshing turn of events for players who are tired of guarding settlements. Presumably some kind of story quest will have to be undertaken in order for the player to take control of the Raider army, but it remains to be seen what that will be. According to the description, players can also expect a bevy of new weaponry, enemies, and quests.

Nuka World is set to be Fallout 4's final expansion, and it's the only story-based expansion left to be released. Fallout 4 will also be receiving new DLC during the summer, but after that, it will be up to modders to keep the game fresh. Of course, gamers may still want to play the game all over again if they own a HTC Vive, as Bethesda announced at E3 that Fallout 4 will be playable on the HTC Vive in 2017.

Information regarding Nuka World is still a bit thin, but Bethesda Director Todd Howard has said that more information will be released about it once it's closer to the release date. However, these new details - while sparse - help to make the expansion sound a bit more interesting than just going through a pre-war theme park and decimating the enemies there.
