With Fall Guys releasing a huge new season of content, it is nice to see that Mediatonic is still focused on improving the little things within the adorable battle royale game. The official Twitter account for Fall Guys posted today that community feedback is being listened to, with the game’s developer sharing the areas that they have started to work on.

The first major quality of life change listed in the post will allow Fall Guys players to spectate their teammates automatically when eliminated. Fall Guys mentioned autospectate for party members in patch notes from back in August, an addition that would allow players to immediately watch their friends once eliminated. The feature has yet to be added, though, so hopefully this most recent tease is met with an actual addition of the mechanic to the game.

Fall Guys will also be getting a series of stage fixes, none of which are for the new Season 2 maps. Jump Showdown, one of the final rounds added in the middle of the game’s first season, will see some speed adjustments due to players reporting issues with the round. Tip Toe will also be seeing some VFX changes, with the visuals being updated so that players can navigate the troublesome round more easily. The final showdown map Hex-A-Gone will also be receiving VFX updates.

Widely regarded as the best mini-game in Fall Guys, Hex-A-Gone will get another major change as well. Based on player feedback, the tile colors on the map will be changing. Previously, players found it too difficult to see their bean if it was dressed in certain outfits or wearing certain colors, causing it to blend in with the tiles below. Further, having a descending system of colors so players can easily tell how close they are to the bottom is a logical change than fans want to see, and it seems like Mediatonic is listening.

While the small team behind the massive game is busy working on fan-requested changes, the updates have not stopped them from working on new skins for the game. While season 2 features plenty of unlockable attires for the cute player-controlled beans, one new skin set to come to the game sees none other than Sonic the Hedgehog speeding his way into Fall Guys. With the blue blur set to join Gris, Portal, Half Life, and Team Fortress, there is no telling what crossovers happen within Fall Guys next.

Fall Guys is showing no signs of slowing down, as more limited time game modes are coming to Fall Guys soon as well. Hopefully by the time they arrive players are auto-spectating their friends and Hex-A-Gone will feature a different color scheme that is easier on the eyes.

Fall Guys is available now for PC and PlayStation 4.
