Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is a popular online video game with different kinds of maps and activities that many players enjoy. Fall Guys even set the world record as a PlayStation Plus title a couple of months ago in September, and the game continues to be a favorite among plenty of players.
Fall Guys is enjoyed for many reasons, one of which is the wide selection of wacky costumes that players can customize their characters with. On top of that, Fall Guys has had various crossovers in the past with several notable video game properties familiar to most players, like Sonic The Hedgehog and Super Monkey Ball. Soon, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will be getting a new crossover with the PlayStation game Sackboy.
The news was annonuced recently from the official Twitter account for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, which revealed that it is crossing over with the Sackboy game and introducing a new skin based on the mascot character. The tweet even comes with a new short trailer showing the new costume in action for players to see. The new Sackboy costume will be available for players to use in Fall Guys from December 1 to December 5.
Along with the new Sackboy skin, Fall Guys will also have new Sackboy challenges that players can complete in the game during December. The trailer for the new Sackboy costume shows several of the new challenges, which are to help celebrate Fall Guys' upcoming Season 6. These will be limited-time challenges that players can complete in exchange for a new costume and other in-game rewards.
On the flip side of the crossover, the official Sackboy Twitter account revealed that the latest game will be receiving new costumes, too. According to the post, Sackboy: A Big Adventure will be receiving two new Fall Guys skins for the crossover called Fairycorn and Rookie. Players can download the new Fall Guys costumes for Sackboy for free from the PlayStation Store on December 1st after the new season starts for Fall Guys.
Fall Guys Season 6 had recently been announced yesterday with a new cinematic trailer showing some of the new things that will be added. Players can expect five new rounds, five new obstacles, and over 25 new costumes being added to Fall Guys this season. The trailer even stated there would be more to come when Season 6 is available this November 30th. The trailer also revealed that Sackboy isn't the only new costume from a familiar PlayStation game players can look forward to. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will also be adding an unlockable costume of Jin Sakai, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima, for the new season.
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now for PC and PS4 with Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S versions currently in development scheduled to release later this year.
