Companies everywhere are trying to get in on the hype that is Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout because Konami just posted its own mockup costumes featuring Metal Gear Solid outfits to Twitter.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout released just one week ago and was so popular that Fall Guys servers were crashing and being put down for maintenance consistently during its first few days open. While it's great news for Devolver Digital and Mediatonic that the game is exceptionally popular for PS4 users, it ultimately ended up with them getting roasted for not keeping up with the number of players attempting to get in on the fun.

But companies all over—and not just gaming companies—are enjoying the hype presented by Fall Guys because companies are sharing their own fan-made skins on Twitter or requesting collaborations with the battle royale multiplayer. It may have begun when players found out about the Half-Life Gordon Freeman skin available for them to unlock. Following that, companies have come up with renditions of the GT Omega gaming chair, Colonel Sanders from KFC, and even a Walmart vest from Walmart Canada Gaming saying, "Attached is a very serious mockup."

Whether or not these silly collaborations will happen is yet to be announced, however, more seriously, Fall Guys has drawn-up skins with other games like Hotline Miami, and recently had a Twitter conversation with CD Projekt Red about Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 crossovers. And now, Konami has posted its rendition of Big Boss and Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. They look like pretty serious mockups where real time and effort was dedicated to making them.

Fans are already hoping for the skins to be real, though the official Fall Guys Twitter account is mostly retweets of others getting hyped over the game, with actual news being few and far between. "I'm a simple jelly bean, I see a branded Fall Guy, I retweet," one tweet says with a shrugging emoji. Though none of these collaborations may be brought to light, Fall Guys is sure to release many more real skins in the months and years of gaming to come.

Fall Guys has been capturing exceptional attention since its release. Many fans are quick to note how unique the non-combative multiplayer is, making it the perfect family-friendly yet competitive game for all ages. Even better, in true battle royale fashion, Fall Guys has proper seasons, meaning new skins, costumes, and other rewards for each season that players can keep a lookout and work for.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC and PS4.
