While there are many tips and tricks Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout players can use to qualify for the next round, one key element will really help them pull ahead in the competition: the coveted golden eggs. Here's how players can find and use golden eggs in Fall Guys matches to make it to the final rounds.
Released at the beginning of the month, Fall Guys is shaping up to be the next big competitive battle royale on the market. It's family-friendly and fun for all ages, and the lack of verbal and text communication between players and teammates eliminates the toxicity often seen in other competitive games. Unfortunately, the lack of chat means players much strategize on their own to make it the final round and earn the golden crown. To be the last one standing, the golden eggs could be players' key strategy.
Firstly, players need to know which mini-games contain the rare golden eggs. There are two, and depending on where players stand on their personal preferences, both Fall Guys mini-games are wildly split as most beloved and hated stages. The first of the two is obvious: Egg Scramble. But the other, some players may have not come across a random giant golden egg yet: Fall Ball. Both are team-based games, so getting the rare item will help the team out tremendously. But the mini-games are chosen at random, so if one these pops up, be sure to utilize the golden eggs.
Egg Scramble
In the Egg Scramble mini-game in Fall Guys, there are three total golden eggs and each is each worth five points, which is a lot if one team is able to keep their hands on all three of them. Typically, at the beginning of a match, all three golden eggs will be close to the center, so players will have to dive and push around other players to get to them. Otherwise, wait until one team has grabbed them and steal the eggs from the goal. A great strategy to pair with the golden eggs is to stay inside the players' own goalbox and stop others from stealing their eggs. If all three golden eggs are held onto when the timer runs out, this means at least fifteen points, which is almost always enough to qualify for the next round.
Fall Ball
This is another Fall Guys mini-game that's either loved or hated by players, but Fall Ball can actually be pretty easy to strategize with once the player gets familiar enough. Some players might not yet know, but a giant golden egg will sometimes randomly replace the soccer ball and is again worth five points once it lands in one of the goals, which is also almost always enough to win a match. To make sure the golden egg lands in the right goal, one player should stand on the center circle on their team's side and wait for the next ball to spawn. Time it just right by diving into it as it's falling and the ball or egg can launch straight into the enemy's goal.
