Fall Guys, the newly released hit in the battle royale-like genre, is eager to get the ball rolling on collaborations with the official Twitter account retweeting fan-art, user-shared videos, and general suggestions from fans. One such tweet, suggesting Fortnite get into the mix, is gaining traction and even involved the Fall Guy's Twitter retweeting and mentioning Epic Games CEO, Tim Sweeney.

The Tweet, by user @adrotito, puts a Fall Guys bean character into costumes of the popular Fortnite llama and bear, with the Fall Guy's Official Twitter retweeting and mentioning Fortnite's official handle suggesting it's time to talk business. The tweet is one of many fans have been sending to the official Twitter account with ideas for customers based off of many popular games in the industry. Whether this leads to something in the future remains to be seen, but Fortnite doesn't exactly shy away from such ideas.

Fall Guys' success has led it to being the biggest launch on Steam from publisher Devolver Digital. The game has become so popular, in fact, that servers have had a tough time handling the overload of players, forcing developer Mediatonic to shut them down and rework some aspects behind the scenes. While day one issues for online focused games is fairly common, Fall Guys had initially seen a backlash for the issues with fans review bombing the game during its initial launch, but the game has seemed to move past that.

Meanwhile, Epic Game's Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers of its own. The popular battle royale game has had its own share of limited time events since its launch involving characters and items from other franchises. Popular brands like DC,Star Wars, and more recently, a collaboration with the the upcoming game Marvel's Avengers have provided fans with items to unlock as they play through a season. With both Fortnite and Fall Guys having a battle pass progression system, the idea of crossover event can easily be seen with tiered unlocks of costumes and emotes, although a simple event would likely suffice.

Fall Guys' success isn't without its drawbacks. While PC and PS4 fans are enjoying the frantic battle royale, owners of a Nintendo Switch or Xbox One console have had to wait on the sidelines for a chance to win the crown. In response to fans rweeting their eagerness to play the game on those consoles, developer Mediatonic has stated the game could come to those consoles if demands was high enough but not in the game's immediate future due to the size of the studio and its current focus on keeping the game running without a hitch.

Fall Guys is available now on PC and PS4.
