How to Grow Hybrid Flowers in Fae Farm

Fae Farm Flower Seeds

Hybrid flowers have two different parent flowers in their genetic makeup, resulting in new colors. Players must complete a few storyline tasks before growing flowers on their farm. At the beginning of the game, the flower shop owner, Rosalind, asks players to breed her a rare hybrid flower.

Fae Farm Flower Soil Bed

She explains that if players plant a red rose, leave a space next to it, and then plant a white zinnia, it may result in a hybrid flower. You must craft at least three Flower Soil Beds to complete this quest. The crafting menu can only be accessed while players are on their homestead. Flower Soil Beds are made using the following materials:

  • Oak Log x1 - cut down trees with the axe to get logs.
  • Silt x1 - silt is harvested from dirt piles using the shovel.
  • Mulch x1 - mulch can be dug up from wood piles in the Spooky Woods and mines.

To complete Rosalind's quest, players must combine a red flower and a white flower to get a pink flower. The quickest way to do this is using a red rose and a white lily. Once the flowers are planted, don't pick them when they bloom. Players should water them once a day to promote their growth.

Fae Farm Hybrid Flowers Pink

A seed will appear between them that grows into a red, white, or pink flower. Since it isn't guaranteed, players may need to plant several flowers for their desired choice.

Players will also need to unlock all the flower species at the shops to grow all the hybrid flowers and complete their Almanac. Rosalind only sells red roses, white lilies, and yellow tulip seeds.

Fae Farm Pink Flower

Zinnia's can only be purchased from the flower shop in the Fae Realm. Players must clear the floating ruins and restore the Fae Realm before they can buy flowers from the shop owner, Asphodel. Asphodel has blue hyacinth, green zinnia, and magenta trillium seeds in their flower inventory.
