Whether it is during the fall, spring, summer, or winter seasons, the classic anime bad guy is a devious kind, and only a select few deserve that label. In anime, the villain's evil acts usually highlight the hero's virtues. They are intended to portray forces completely opposite to the ideas of the audience and may have appealing features to increase their appeal.

A villain's role in making a hero likable is comparable to that of the hero. However, there are only a handful of villains that can truly be considered the most menacing and are unrepentantly violent. A popular pattern in anime is for the antagonist to show off how nasty they are by detailing the evil things they would have done if the hero had not stepped in.

Makima is depicted as being interested in the main character, Denji, and his transformation into Chainsaw Man.

When fans first meet Makima, she has designs on taking control of Pochita with the help of the Chainsaw devil. To obtain what she wants, Makima uses her charisma as well as other skills like brainwashing and manipulating others to further her agenda.

The third season centers on the Divine Tree arc, where Dimple uses Psycho Helmet, a body he created to rule the world using the power of the Divine Tree. Dimple uses the Divine Tree to brainwash people and make them slaves of the Psycho Helmet; he proposes that Mob join him so both of them can take over the world.

Tsurumi is obsessed with obtaining the gold of the Ainu, a legendary creature said to possess valuable gold fur. He believes finding this gold will allow him to rebuild Hokkaido with him as the military leader and create a utopia. To this end, he leads a group of soldiers called the "7th Division" in a hunt for the gold.

Tsurumi is a ruthless and calculating individual who will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. He is a psychotic corrupt official who has committed various crimes like fraud, arson, torture, assault, attempted treason, blackmail, and kidnapping, among many others.
