Most of Lae'Zel's endings are very good, but unfortunately, there is almost no room for romantic relationships. She is loyal to her people above all and will do anything to protect them from the Netherbrain. And even when it is defeated, she will want to go to fight Vlaakith as it turns out that he is no less of a threat to Githyanki.

Her motivation is strong, and even the protagonist cannot always influence her decisions. Baldur's Gate 3 has a wide variety of endings, especially for Lae'Zel, so players will definitely want to know if they could have gotten a better one

Alliance with the Emperor and Kill Orpheus

Lae'Zel in Baldur's Gate 3

After an unsuccessful attempt to defeat the Elder Brain, the party will find themselves in a place where Orpheus is being held. If the Baldur’s Gate players do not want to betray the Emperor, he will kill Orpheus. This will allow them to defeat the Illithid Empire in the future. But it will be a bad ending for Lae'Zel. She will accuse the protagonist of not saving the life of the prince, which will jeopardize the fate of Githyanki. Lae'Zel, even if she agrees to see the job through, will still leave the party in the end because she will be an outcast of her people because of the protagonist's actions.

Free Orpheus And Become Mind Flayer

Lae'Zel in Baldur's Gate 3

If the player refuses to kill Orpheus, the Emperor will not help and will join Netherbrain. After that, there will be a conversation with the prince in which it will become clear that someone has to become the Mind Flayer. If the protagonist decides to become one, Orpheus will say that he underestimated him and will be very grateful. After defeating the Elder Brain, Orpheus will call Lae'Zel to fly together on dragons to fight against Vlaakith. She will gladly accept this offer, and she will not want to stay because she cannot be with the Mind Flayer.

Orpheus or Karlach Becomes a Mind Flayer

Lae'Zel in Baldur's Gate 3

After rescuing Orpheus, if the player does not want to become a Mind Flayer, Orpheus or Karlach will become one. Further events will take place in much the same way as in the ending above. But after the final battle, there will be more options for the storyline. The protagonist can ask Lae'Zel to stay with them, and Orpheus will fly away on his own, unless he has turned into a Mind Flayer.

Many players believe that it is wrong to ask Lae'Zel to stay, as she has to fight for her people. However, there is an ending that will allow players to fly with her on the dragons. But for this, the character must be a Githyanki, so few people have been able to see this ending.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available now on PC and PS5, with an Xbox Series X version also in development.
