However, his fellow supernatural forest folk may just topple the boat, eat his crops, and cause some chaos just for kicks.

Kubo Won’t Let Me Be Invisible (January 10 on HIDIVE!)

The rather forgettable Junta Shiraishi is used to fading into the background and being left to his own devices, which doesn't seem to phase him that much, although things can get rather lonely at times. Thankfully, his self-declared heroine is here to save the day, as the class goddess, Kubo, is always eager to give Junta some well-deserved attention at every opportunity.

While their relationship starts off with the typical affectionate mockery, it becomes quite evident that a romance is slowly blossoming between the unlikely pair. Junta's invisibility cloak begins to slip off as the rest of the world finally begins to notice (and appreciate) his presence.

Nightwatch Cat (NHK)

This well-dressed, oversized grey cat is the epitome of the perfect emotional support animal, seeking out those in need of comfort by following the scent of their tears. Heizō Endō's broad ears are perfect for listening to people's struggles, and he always seems to have the best solutions hidden up his fashionable sleeves. Heizō is often accompanied by an adorable, one-eyed ginger kitten named Juro, assumedly to lighten the mood.

This sweet new slice of life anime is due to be released in batches of five episodes, each five minutes long, and will air on March 14, 20, and 27 with NHK. Unfortunately, details regarding an international release date have been revealed as of yet.

This seinen romance slice of life follows two sleep-deprived students who meet by chance in the forsaken school observatory one day, finally finding a companion to watch the sunrise with after another all-nighter.

The usually grumpy Ganta can't help but crack a smile whenever he is around the zealous, excitable Isaki, and his whole world is turned on its head as he stumbles into this whirlwind late-night romance. The insomniacs soon learn that their sleeplessness may not always be a curse, particularly when there is someone else around to share the twilight with.

The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls U149- Spring 2023

The classic Cinderella tale gets a new lease on life, although a rather downsized version, as all these leading ladies barely reach 149 centimeters in height (4 ft, 11 in.) The girls refuse to allow their short statures to impede their dreams of becoming celebrated pop idols, each adding their own unique flair to the IDOLM@STER franchise.

These tiny talented pre-teens may find the big wide world to be rather daunting; however, their passion shines through as a constant source of encouragement along the treacherous path to idol-hood, officially beginning their training on April 5. Those who thought the original IDOLM@STERS were cute are really in for a treat with these fun-sized versions of aspiring entertainers!

Hime Shiraki has high expectations in life but lacks the corresponding work ethic, so she plans to use cuteness and charisma to get what she wants. In a twist of fate, Hime's "hard work" lands her a waitressing position at the local theatrical cafe, where she meets some strange and intriguing people who open her eyes to unforeseen opportunities.

This wouldn't be a yuri anime without some romance, and Mitsuki not-so-happily obliges as the disgruntled love interest and co-worker. A breathtaking dive into the world of art follows the young prodigy, Kazuya Yamanashi, and his childhood friend, Jun Tsuzuki, as they explore the intricacies of "Perception Art" (and their complex relationship, too). An old companion, Kyo Takise, also happens to be attending the same art school, and the yaoi storyline gets even more complicated as their worlds collide.

Fortunately, when a jovial transfer student joins their class, oblivious of her glaringly obvious "pitfalls," Nishimura finally gets the chance to experience friendship.

Taiyō Takada inspires this loner to break free from her isolation and begin interacting with the world; however, the naivety is thickly spread between these two, producing wildy entertaining results. This awkward "shinigami" and her newfound chuunibyou buddy are due to debut on April 9 with simulcast viewing on Crunchyroll.

Kyotaro Ichikawa is a Chuunibyou of sorts (with the appropriately cool contacts to prove it!), believing himself to be the primary victim of a psychological thriller storyline, subsequently emanating creepy stalker vibes as a result.

Although Kyotaro spends most of his time daydreaming or with his nose in a book, he somehow still manages to capture the attention of his crush, the most popular girl in his class, miss Anna Yamada. The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses

Cafe Terrace Familia's fate is not looking good after its owner dies, leaving the prized possession to her disinterested grandson, who would rather sell it and pursue his studies instead of working in the service industry. Unfortunately, Saint Cecilia and Pastor Lawrence's big debut has been pushed back by three months due to COVID-19 complications, but they are hoping to make their grand entrance in July 2023.

The Masterful Cat Is Depressed Again Today

Saku's relationship with a stray kitty is nothing like she expected, as she somehow scored an oversized cooking and cleaning enthusiast out of the deal. Although Saku's life may be a catastrophic mess, at least Yukichi is around to keep things in order; just don't expect service with a smile!

Not only is their relationship rather comical, but it's mutually beneficial too, as the hard-working Yukichi is rewarded with tasty treats and a warm bed whilst offering comfort and companionship to the rather melancholic Saku. Their situation may not be perfect, but it is certainly effective and will be entertaining viewers as of July 2023.

The Apothecary Diaries

Although filled with magic and mystery, The Apothecary Diaries takes the slice of life approach to storytelling, as Maomao broadens her knowledge about ancient Chinese medicine and heals from the wounds left by her dark past. Maomao's life takes another drastic turn when Jinshi discovers her remedial talents and whisks her away, providing Maomao with the "cushy" life of an official court food taster.

This elegant series contains breathtaking visuals bursting with captivating colors, with some of the most gorgeous character designs to grace the 2023 slice of lifeanime lineup. Details regarding the streaming platform and international release date are unclear at this time, but fans' excitement grows nevertheless!
