Alone in the Dark

Alone in the Dark is one of the original horror games that doesn't always get the credit it deserves. When the original came out in 1992, it pioneered a lot of the mechanics and concepts that would be the inspiration for games like Resident Evil and Silent Hill. There have been several entries over the years, though none of them reached quite the level of attention as the aforementioned franchises. But now, after almost ten years since the last release, the new Alone in the Dark follows the remake trend with a reimagining of the original game's story. Bringing together an all-star cast including David Harbour and Jodie Comer along with the writer of Soma and Amnesia, Mikael Hedberg, the legendary Guillermo del Toro, Guy Davis, and musician Jason Kohnen, this will be a horror game fans won't want to miss.
Slitterhead

From one of Silent Hill's original creators, Keiichiro Toyama, comes the new horror IP Slitterhead. Toyama has even teamed up with the original composer of the classic Konami survival horror franchise, Akira Yamaoka. With industry veterans behind this creepy new game with elements of body horror on display, this will certainly be something to pay attention to. Not much is known about the gameplay or story at this time, but it is set for release sometime in 2024.
Little Nightmares 3

The third installment in the popular horror adventure game, Little Nightmares, is set to debut sometime in 2024. Featuring two new characters, Low and Alone, as they traverse through the creepy land of The Nowhere. For the first time in the franchise, there will be online co-op, so players can go solo or with a friend. There is sure to be a plethora of puzzles and platforming in this follow-up to the popular Little Nightmares games.
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2

After a turbulent development cycle, including being canceled, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is finally set to release in Fall 2024. The follow-up to the original 2004 cult classic, Bloodlines 2 will bring players back to the World of Darkness to live the life of a vampire. Set in Seattle, players will take on the role of an elder vampire as they form alliances and fight for survival. This action RPG is something fans new and old will not want to miss.

Alone in the Dark (2024)
Pieces Interactive and THQ Nordic's Alone in the Dark reimagines 1992's influential title of the same name and its two sequels. Rather than a full-blown remake, the 2024 game tells an original story while integrating elements from the classic trilogy. Presented from a third-person angle, the story follows Edward Carnby and Emily Hartwood as they make their way to Derceto Manor, an institution that once housed Emily's missing uncle.
