Throughout its two seasons, Euphoria’s characters have donned some incredible outfits. From Jules’ colorful, zany style to the street kid look repped by characters like Fez and Ashtray, the show prides itself on its characters’ fashion. And even when certain characters rock more of a normcore style, it fits flawlessly within the show’s riveting subplot of the opioid addiction crisis in America.

9 Cassie’s Oklahoma Outfit

Cassie's Oklahoma outfit from Euphoria Season 2

She’s not auditioning for Oklahoma, but she sure looks the part. Cassie’s cropped blue-and-white checkered scoop neck top might look like a picnic blanket, but you’ve got to admit she’s got an eye for color when she layered it on top of that blue floral dress of hers. Add in those high-heeled boots, and it’s easy to imagine Cassie as a rodeo queen in some alternate universe.

With ruffled sleeves and a hairdo that screams Little House on the Prairie, this is certainly one of Cassie’s more eccentric outfits, but it’s undeniably loud and proud.

8 Jules’ Kappa Jacket & Rainbow Makeup

Euphoria's Jules wearing a Kappa track jacket with rainbow eye shadow.

Athletic wear is about way more than exercise. For many it’s a way of life, and Jules definitely owns the look with this neon green track jacket. A little worn and frayed, Jules probably copped this gem out of some California vintage shop, but like a fine wine it’s only aged with time.

Clothes are by definition a big part of any outfit, but what really seals the deal on this one is Jules’ matching rainbow eye shadow. It’s super subtle, but this little splash of color breathes new life into a Kappa jacket that’s definitely seen better days.

7 Rue’s Normcore T-Shirt & Jeans

While loads of characters sport over-the-top looks and accessories, Rue often keeps things simple. What really sets Euphoria apart from many other shows is its uncompromising dissection of drug addiction. Rue has struggled with drug addiction ever since she unwittingly tried her dad’s pain medication. When it comes to Zendaya’s portrayal of the character, drug use is never glamorized.

Showrunner Sam Levinson portrays Rue at her lowest in Euphoria Season 2, with the star of the show painfully withdrawing from opioids. Rue’s outfit fits the role so well. Gone are the flashy bells and whistles fans had come to expect from the show. All that’s left is Rue, stripped of her dignity and looking the part of a struggling drug addict.

6 Cassie’s & Maddy’s Copycat Outfits

Desperate for Nate’s attention, Cassie pulls out all the stops to get even a moment of eye contact with her best friend’s ex. With a new skincare and hair routine that involves waking up at 4 a.m. every day, Cassie definitely tried everything she could in Euphoria Season 2 — including copying Maddy’s own style.

Sure enough, the outfit that finally draws Nate’s gaze creates a twinning moment that looks a little too much like the Pointing Spider-man meme. The high-waisted pants and single-buttoned cardigan are definitely a statement piece. The real question is, who wore it better?

5 Maddy’s Party Dress

Maddy's cutout party dress in Euphoria Season 2 Episode 1

Probably one of the loudest fits in Euphoria Season 2, Maddy’s cutout party dress perfectly fits the equally loud character like a glove. In fact, one look at those shoulder-length gloves of hers proves that Maddy is the undisputed queen of Euphoria fashion.

With hoop earrings large enough for a 747 to fly through and heels taller than Mount Everest, Maddy isn’t taking any prisoners while wearing that black dress. One of the show’s sharpest and most unique characters, fans can also catch up on some of the best Maddy quotes that are as iconic as the character herself.

4 Faye’s Anime-Inspired Wardrobe

Played by adult film actress Chloe Cherry, Faye is one of Season 2’s most interesting new characters. Despite making her first appearance in the show as a clueless drug addict, Faye develops into a much more nuanced, independent character by the season finale.

And alongside those developments are some iconic outfits, including this anime-inspired one. Made in the USA by Unif Clothing, this pink baby tee fits Faye’s character perfectly. And the juxtaposition of such a cute outfit with the carnage that follows later in the episode is a testament to showrunner Sam Levinson’s eye for detail.

3 Jules’ Psychedelic Dream Outfit

Even though Rue only dreamed this outfit, it would be a crime not to include it. Jules’ enormous Art Deco-inspired fake eyelashes make for a sharp addition to a wardrobe that’s already overflowing with on-point outfits.

Coupled with a multicolored transparent jacket and a gold ankh necklace, Jules looks ready to take on the world in this psychedelic fantasy of Rue’s. With eyelashes long and sharp enough that they’d never make it through airport security, Jules once again reminds us how fierce Euphoria’s fashion really is.

2 Ashtray’s Gucci Jacket & Red Jeans Combo

Ashtray wearing a Gucci jacket and red jeans in Euphoria Season 2

Despite growing up with criminals for a family and little more than his adopted brother Fez to keep him right, Ashtray — Euphoria’s youngest character — seems to be doing pretty well for himself, at least financially. Repping the streets with this Gucci bomber jacket, Ash is looking fresher than ever before.

With a subtle grid pattern and a sleek white-and-black lined popped collar, Ash’s track jacket provides a certain class that pairs amazingly well with the basic gray undershirt he’s got on underneath. Combined with a pair of crimson red jeans, Ash really looks like the boss he’s always wanted to be.

1 Rue’s Malcolm X Top

Rue in a Malcolm X shirt in Euphoria Season 2

After she hits rock bottom, Rue slowly starts to recover from the symptoms of her withdrawal and begins making amends with those she wronged. During the emotionally powerful scene where she calls up her sponsor Ali to apologize, Rue’s wearing none other than this iconic Malcolm X top. Full of popping greens and reds with whites and blacks to complement, the shirt bears a striking image of Malcolm X himself as well as numerous quotes from the assassinated civil rights leader scrawled across the front.

It’s a righteous nod by writer and director Sam Levinson: Ali has spoken at length to Rue about how his faith in Allah got him through his drug addiction. Malcolm X had consistently advocated for Black peoples’ adoption of Islam during his lifetime. It seems that Rue’s decision to wear the shirt while apologizing marks a turning point in her life, similar to Ali’s own breakthrough decades earlier.
