Eternals dropped another teaser that demonstrates the power of the new group of heroes in the ever-growing world of Marvel. In the TV spot, Kumail Nanjiani's Kingo points out how the team makes up for not having Avengers heroes like Thor and Spider-Man.

The Eternals are a group of aliens that were hidden amongst the human population with instructions to not interfere with any human conflict or tragedy unless it involved the Deviants. This includes world wars, natural disasters, and even Thanos' vanishing event; all were things that the Eternals couldn't help out with. This doesn't sit well with all of them, as fans will see some characters find it hard to understand the rules they have to follow.

The recent television spot for Eternals offered a nod to the other heroes in Marvel. They name-drop two of the most popular Marvel characters: Spider-Man and Thor. The TV spot is a nice addition to the promotional run for the upcoming star-studded Marvel film. It speaks to the topic on everybody's mind: the world already has incredible heroes in the Avengers, so what makes the Eternals worth bringing into the fold?

Each of the heroes has their own unique power, personality quirk, and design that make them a very unique addition to the hidden alien team. The types of powers fans will see in Eternals range from super speed, energy manipulation, weapon transmutation, flight, laser vision, and super strength. In the TV spot, Kingo mentions that Angelina Jolie's Thena alone makes up for the lack of Avengers on the Eternals roster.

This wasn't the first time the upcoming film name-dropped some heavy-hitting heroes. As some fans may have seen in one of the teasers, Eternals references Superman despite being a Marvel film. It also name-drops Batman's famous butler, Alfred. The film may be looking to take itself seriously, but it won't do so without having some fun along the way.

Eternals has the hard task of introducing a world of new-age heroes into an already existing universe of worldwide phenomenons. The film will bring fans into the cosmic side of the Marvel universe when it releases in theaters this fall, while also introducing the celestials, the deviants, and possibly Thanos' backstory.

Eternals is slated for a November 5th, 2021, theatrical release date.
