Dragon Age: Inquisition is an RPG developed by BioWare that begins as players emerge as the sole survivor of a world-changing event, capable of closing rifts and reportedly beckoned to the world by the prophet Andraste. The combat of Dragon Age: Inquisition has been seen as fun and colorful by critics for what it achieves, with some considering it to be the best of both worlds in terms of previous combative entries in the series.
The detail to the writing had critics saying every quest in Inquisition is memorable and impacts the narrative, serving as one of the things that have helped it win Game of the Year. There are plot elements and characters that return from Dragon Age 2 and other titles, so while Inquisition may not be the best starting point, it's still worth looking into for the low price of free.
