Quests are an essential part of Enshrouded when it comes to exploring the map and retrieving valuable items. The Hunter Hand Spindle Quest is no different, where your primary task is to retrieve the Hand Spindle that the Hunter lost during her travel.
The Hand Spindle is a crucial item in crafting powerful armor, and it is acquired by completing a list of objectives mentioned in Hunter’s Hand Spindle Quest. However, players must ensure that their Flame Altar is at least Level three to survive in the Red Shroud that comes during the quest.

How to Retrieve the Hand Spindle
Here is how players can easily locate the Hand Spindle and place it at their base in Enshrouded.
The Town of Westcott
This town is on the western side of the Ancient Vault, where players first encounter the Farmer. Upon arrival, players must look for a house, which is typically in the town's center, taller than all the other buildings. Additionally, a guard is standing outside the door, whom you must defeat.
- Once you’re there, head into the room towards the roof.
- Upon arrival, you’ll find a diary entitled “Martha’s Diary, Entry 1,” read it.
- After successfully locating and reading this diary, players will automatically unlock the following location on their map.
Locating the Tent
- After unlocking the next steps, players must exit the house and head north until they reach a tent.
- Upon entering the tent, players can locate another book, “Leave the Rot Behind.”
- Like the previous objective, successfully reading this book will highlight the next objective’s location on your in-game map.
Arriving at Revelwood and Retrieving Hand Spindle
The next objective requires you to locate a cave in Diadwyn. You can reach this destination in two ways:
Fast travel from Revelwood’s Ancient Spire | By doing so, you can directly glide towards Diadwyn. However, this method only works if you’ve unlocked the Ancient Spire of Revelwood. |

If you don’t have the Ancient Spire for Revelwood unlocked | You’ll have to continue north from the tent until you spot a bridge that leads toward Revelwood. From there, you can reach Diadwyn. |
Continue moving north until you spot the cave entrance. A noteworthy point is that the cave crawls with spiders and spiderwebs, which you must take care of. After you’ve removed the webs at the cave’s entrance, you’ll have to search for another set of spider webs blocking a passageway on the southeast side.
Continue further after you’ve killed them. There, you’ll see a dark-pink glue on the opposite side of the room. This “glow” represents the Spindle. However, the area between you and the Spindle is widely crawling with spiders. After eliminating the spiders, all you have to do is loot the area and obtain the Spindle.
