Among the wide array of resources available in Enshrouded’s Early Access, Goo is a vital one. Its primary use is in upgrading the Flame Alter, while other benefits include crafting various other recipes and weapons. For instance, it is an ingredient in crafting the Stun arrow, which, as the name suggests, is used to stun your opponents.

However, finding this resource isn’t straightforward. While players can occasionally find Goo by destroying various objects, the recommended and the most efficient method of acquiring it is related to a Craftsperson, the Alchemist. Players must unlock the NPC and fulfil the objectives that follow. Keep reading to learn more about how to get Goo in Enshrouded.

Goo can be crafted through a mixture of three resources. However, before diving into that part of the discussion, players must first unlock the Alchemist from the Alchemist vault in order to access the recipe for crafting Goo.

Once players have unlocked the Alchemist for their base, they’ll then have to acquire the Alchemist Mortar. Use this Mortar to squash Critter Parts into the Bug Dust . After following these steps, players will have unlocked the recipe to create Goo.

How to Craft Goo in Enshrouded

Now that the recipe for Goo is available, it’s time to start crafting this material. At the time of Enshrouded being in its Early Access stages, the resources required to craft Goo are the following:

  • 1 Bug Dust
  • 1 Dirt
  • 1 Shroud Liquid

Getting access to all three of these resources is straightforward. To acquire Dirt, players can use their pickaxe and start digging any part of their base. For Bug Dust, players can revert to the Alchemist Mortar, which was discussed earlier. Using it to crush Critter Parts spawns bugs in the Shroud. To acquire Shroud Liquid, players can harvest it from mushrooms in the Shroud area.

Once you have gained access to each of the above-mentioned resources, you can now start crafting Goo.
