Where To Find Tin Ore

Tin Ore can be found in several places throughout the game, especially in the Nomad Highlands and Umber Hollow areas. While most of the mines and caves in these areas will have Tin Ore for places to obtain, there are some of these places that definitely have more Tin Ore than others. This means that players will probably want to hit up those areas before resorting to checking out just any cave or mine in the area. The map above shows the four best places that have been found to contain the most Tin Ore.

  • Mining Rift
  • Nomad Highlands Ancient Spire
  • Shroud Root Cave
  • West Umber Hollow

Remember, these are the best areas to look for Tin Ore, but they are not the only places.

How To Use Tin Ore

Once players reach the Flame Level of 4, they will be tasked with creating things from Tin Ore in order to reach Flame Level 5. In fact, players will need 20 Tin Ores (along with quite a few more items) to increase the Flame Level. After that, Tin Ore is mainly used to craft Tin Bars, which will be vital for any playthrough of the game in order to obtain Bronze Bars. After crafting 3 Tin Bars (needing 60 Tin Ores, 20 for each bar), players can craft 10 Bronze Bars when combined with Copper Bars made with Copper Ore.
