Lin-Manuel Miranda has another hit song on his hands. Disney's latest animated film, Encanto, has soared to the top of the Billboard charts and has managed to dethrone one of the most popular songs from Frozen.

In 2021, Disney released Encanto, which has already risen to critical acclaim. Encanto was the highest-grossing animated film of 2021 and won the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature of 2021. In order to win, Encanto beat out other notable Disney releases including Luca and Raya and the Last Dragon.

The fourth song on Encanto's soundtrack, "We Don’t Talk About Bruno," has added to the film’s impressive list of accolades. “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” has racked up 29 million streams and 8,000 downloads sold, earning it a new position on the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 4. The Encanto track has surpassed Frozen's "Let It Go" as Disney's biggest hit from an animated film on the Billboard Hot 100. Back in 2014, Frozen's "Let It Go" reached No. 5 on the Billboard charts.

“We Don’t Talk About Bruno” is credited to Adassa Beatriz, Maruo Castillo, Rhenzy Feliz, Carolina Gaitán, Dianne Guerrero, and the cast of Encanto. It joins a shortlist of other animated Disney tracks that have cracked Billboard's top 5. The list includes Peabo Bryson and Regina Belle's "A Whole New World" from the Aladdin soundtrack, which reached No. 1 in 1993, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" from The Lion King (reached No. 4 in 1994), and "Colors of the Wind" from Pocahontas (reached No. 4 in 1995).

Encanto's hit tune documents a pivotal revelation in the film. As the only member of her family without a magical gift, Mirabel embarks on a journey to save the family’s home and magic. Mirabel quickly discovers a shattered vision left behind by her Uncle Bruno, who has not been seen by the family in a number of years. As her family becomes aware of Mirabel's investigation into Bruno, they warn her not to mention his name and describe the horrific events that led to his sudden disappearance in "We Don’t Talk About Bruno."

Despite its success, "We Don’t Talk About Bruno" itself will not be eligible for an Academy Award, as Disney has submitted "Dos Oruguitas" from the soundtrack instead. However, Encanto still has a chance of adding to its list of accolades at the Academy Awards. With its Golden Globe win, Encanto could be on track to follow in the path of Soul, which earned two Academy Awards in 2021, including Best Animated Feature.

Encanto is now streaming on Disney Plus.
