TikTok has connected several communities through video content, and a video that recently went viral shows a TikToker who looks identical to an NPC from The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. Oblivion released way back in 2006, but it looks like the Elder Scrolls community still holds it in high regards.

This TikTok video has been circulating through various digital avenues, including on Reddit where it was posted by a fan of The Elder Scrolls known as sKritivas. The video shows a gentleman looking away from the camera before swiftly looking straight at it akin to the beginning of a dialogue sequence with an Oblivion NPC.

In the video, the TikToker is facing away in thought as he turns and walks towards the camera in a way that's eerily similar to NPCs engaging in a dialogue in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. With his chin resting on his hand, the TikToker speaks like an Oblivion NPC just as he resembles one. As the camera zooms in on his face, the TikToker says "there is no such thing as a coincidence." There are several lines of recorded dialogue in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion and this is just one of many that the TikToker could have chosen.

TikTok is currently experiencing server issues, but the full viral video of this TikToker includes a jogger who passes by before he stares her down and she screams. Redditors in the comments lament the fact that this scene has been cut from the Reddit clip of this video as several TikTokers saw it as an Oblivion NPC vaporizing unsuspecting joggers. Based on his attire in the viral TikTok video, particularly his amulet, some Redditors are calling this TikToker a mage.

Some Redditors have suggested that the reason this TikToker is uncanny to an Oblivion NPC is his overall face structure. The TikToker has long eyes and pointed ears that are perfectly symmetrical. The bone structure of his face is as smooth as the textures used in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. One Redditor claims to have known this TikToker since high school and claims that he has always looked like an Oblivion NPC, despite his goatee doubtlessly being a new addition.

Among the conversations about this TikTokers' appearance, several Redditors also discussed the up-close nature of NPC dialogues in Oblivion. Several Skyrim fans spoke against it, while others mentioned a mod for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim that brings that feature to the latest Elder Scrolls title. The next mainline title in the franchise isn't expected for several years yet, but The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion may get renewed interest with viral videos like this TikTok clip.
