Talismans are among the best pieces of utility in Elden Ring, granting a variety of buffs, ranging from stat bonuses to damage boosts and more. While most talismans are geared towards either increasing your damage output or protecting you from dangers, a few talismans exist to help you restore health points, such as Blessed Dew, Taker’s Cameo, and Godskin Swaddling Cloth. Blessed Dew grants players a slow but passive regeneration, while Taker’s Cameo regenerates HP on successful kills.

However, Godskin Swaddling Cloth is different from both Blessed Dew and Taker’s Cameo talismans. Godskin Swaddling Cloth grants HP recovery only when the player deals successive attacks to a target. However, the definition of successive attacks depends on the type of weapon. In the case of fast-hitting weapons like claws and fists, you will need to hit a few extra times to proc the regeneration effect, while slow weapons like colossal swords can do it with a few consecutive hits. Regardless, Godskin Swaddling Cloth is an amazing talisman to have if you are planning to fight a group of enemies and want to save Crimson Flasks for the final boss. Here’s how you can obtain the Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman in Elden Ring.

Godskin Swaddling Cloth Location In Elden Ring

Elden Ring - Godskin Swaddling Cloth

The Godskin Swaddling Cloth talisman is a reward for defeating the Spiritcaller Snail boss located in the Spiritcaller’s Cave in the Mountaintops of the Giants. Spiritcaller’s Cave is at the foot of the cliffs located southeast of the Freezing Lake site of grace. To unlock the cave’s entrance, you will have to spend two stonesword keys.

Mountaintops of the Giants is among the endgame regions in Elden Ring, accessible only after you have slain Morgott, the Omen King in Leyndell, Royal Capital. After defeating him, you will get the Rold Medallion from Melina. Then, make a trip through the Forbidden Lands to reach the Grand Lift of Rold, where you can use the medallion to reach the Mountaintops of the Giants.

Elden Ring - Spiritcaller Cave location

Freezing Lake is found on the far north side of Mountaintops of the Giants. To get here, you will first have to cross the stone bridge north of Zamor Ruins, the first ruin you will find upon entering Mountaintops of the Giants. After crossing the bridge, go past the golem enemy to find the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins site of grace. From here, head northeast up the frozen river to reach the Freezing Lake site of grace.

Now, just head southeast to find the entrance to Spiritcaller’s Cave at the bottom of the cliffs. Don’t go towards the center of Freezing Lake, or you might attract the attention of Borealis the Freezing Fog boss. Stick to the cliff’s side, and you will find the imp statue for unlocking the cave’s entrance.

As its name suggests, Spiritcaller’s Cave is home to spiritcaller snails, who have the ability to conjure spirits, just like the Tarnished. Players will have to defeat the spiritcaller snails to despawn their spirits, or they will continuously respawn. Moreover, this cave is enshrouded in darkness, so it is highly recommended to use a lantern for easier navigation.

Elden Ring - Godskin Swaddling Cloth drop reward

Having a skill like Assassin’s Gambit can come in really handy while exploring the Spiritcaller’s Cave. At the end of the cave, players will have to fight Godskin Apostle and Godskin Noble back to back. After defeating both of them, the Spiritcaller Snail will appear for a short time. It has only a few health points and can easily be defeated to claim the Godskin Swaddling Cloth.
