Elden Ring came out two months ago, and the modding community has released many amazing mods for the game since its debut. Players can choose to make Elden Ring easier or even harder for themselves, and one mod adds a much-requested Photo mode to the game.

Fans interested in playing Elden Ring with a friend can take a look at an in-development mod that makes multiplayer more seamless by removing the need for summoning signs. This mod allows players to ride Torrent and explore the world together. It also comes with some neat features, such as voting for the next fast-travel destination and the option for one player to spectate the other after dying to a boss. One Elden Ring mod aims to do the unthinkable, though, as it lets users play the game in VR.

The modder, named LukeRoss, released a new video that shows the Elden Ring VR mod in action. The footage starts at the very beginning of the game, as the player picks up the Tarnished's Wizened Finger and opens the first gate to the Chapel of Anticipation. The view looks even more gorgeous in VR. The player walks around the area, smashing some barrels and boxes before crossing the bridge to reach the first boss of Elden Ring. The video features a small glimpse of the combat and ends after the player dies to the Grafted Scion.

The Elden Ring VR mod looks incredibly well-made, and the game’s striking art design looks more beautiful in this mode. The UI looks clean, although the combat showed instances of some elements going off-screen. It’ll be interesting to see how the other gameplay mechanics transfer over and whether it’s even possible to play a significant portion of Elden Ring this way. However, the mod pulls off an awe-inspiring first look at Elden Ring VR. Players can find videos of Cyberpunk 2077 in VR on LukeRoss’ YouTube channel, and their Patreon page mentions a VR mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 as well.

While combat may not be practical, one user wants Elden Ring mod that lets players explore its beautiful locations in VR without worrying about the gameplay. One player wonders how some Elden Ring enemies will look in this mode, while another wants to get hugged by the NPC Fia in VR. Clearly, many gamers are excited about the possibility of playing Elden Ring in VR, even if specific actions, such as rolling, will be tricky to implement.

Elden Ring is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
