Ever since Elden Ring came out last month, many gamers have been exploring FromSoftware's new open-world RPG as they fight incredibly challenging bosses that they come across. Just as one player was about to defeat one of these Elden Ring bosses, known as a Godskin Noble, they experienced some bad luck instead.

FromSoftware is known for making difficult RPGs, such as Bloodborne, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and the Dark Souls games. Elden Ring, FromSoftware's newest game, which they developed with Game of Thrones creator, George R. R. Martin, offers another stern test for fans of the developer. Since release, a lot of players have been taking up the challenge of battling against Elden Ring's insanely difficult bosses.

Godskin Nobles are a type of boss that Elden Ring players can come across throughout their journey, though they aren't part of Elden Ring's campaign, so players don't need to fight them. However, that didn't stop one gamer from trying. A Reddit user, JulioJJH, posted gameplay of them trying to defeat a Godskin Noble after failing to do so 100 times, only to be killed when it seemed that they were about to win at the end of the battle.

The clip began at the end of the fight, as both the Godskin Noble and the player were low on health. JulioJJH used a Flask of Crimson Tears, one of the main methods that players use to increase their HP, to get most of their health back. However, it wouldn't be enough as JulioJJH then dodged Godskin Noble's Black Flame attack and walked over to the boss. The player attacked the Godskin Noble as it raised its sword, getting ready to strike. The player quickly dodged the attack and moved around the boss, slashing at it from behind. However, JulioJJH came to regret this once the Godskin Noble turned around and stabbed their character several times, winning the fight instead.

After posting the clip, many other Elden Ring players joked around and talked about strategies that can be used to defeat Godskin Nobles and other bosses in general. By simply making one mistake when fighting an Elden Ring boss, gamers can easily lose the fight, so it's great that players are helping each other out.

Elden Ring may have already been out for a month, but many dedicated players still have a difficult time beating the game's most difficult bosses, making this one of the most challenging and popular games FromSoftware has made. As gamers collect Runes, level up, and practice fighting bosses more, they will surely have an easier time taking them down. Until then, other fans can enjoy clips like these.

Elden Ring is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
