Reddit user DS3Enjoyer recently made a startling discovery related to Bloodhound's Step that can help players survive oncoming attacks. The user shared a video on the social media platform where they're trying to evade the enemy using the aforementioned skill. However, DS3Enjoyer has zero Focus Points, which halts the execution of the Bloodhound's Step skill.
Due to the lack of the minimum Focus Points, the user is unable to perform the Bloodhound's Step but still manages to get iframes and evade the oncoming attacks. For those who don't know, iframes or invincibility frames is a term used by gamers to denote situations where specific actions like jumping or rolling make players invincible for a short while. FromSoftware titles, including Elden Ring, are known for incorporating iframes in their gameplay. Naturally, fellow members of the Elden Ring community were astonished by this discovery and began arguing about the efficacy of different ways to avoid attacks. Most Redditors agreed that the complete version of the Bloodhound's Step is the most effective, followed by the Quickstep and the dodge.
Elden Ring's developers have included many more tiny details about skills and magic that can be useful during intense combat. Not long ago, another Redditor named AdranosGaming shared a video showing the effectiveness of the Darkness incantation against certain enemies. Players can use the Darkness incantation to cast a black mist to affect their opponent's visibility, allowing them to inflict heavy damage via backstab.
